9/11/16 - “thank you for keeping us safe! you’re doing a great job!”, she says with sincere cheeks. he responds, “thank you ma'am.” as he looks into the distance, the future if you will - a future free of crime, terror and villainy.

9/11/16 - man hastily leaves press staging area to answer apparently urgent call on his flip phone. he says nothing when he answers with a face that looked as if it had seen a ghost.

when the older cop noticed I had just snapped a candid of him and his partner he stopped me and yelled with a graceful new york tongue, “here! take anothah one!” - he struck his cutest pose and his partner put on his prettiest face and I was delighted to oblige.
