1: Wear someone elseâs shoes!
When you perform in drag, you are dressing and acting like someone of the opposite gender.Â
If you are a male dressing as a female, you would be called a Drag Queen
If you were a female dressing as a male, you would be called a Drag  King
Basically you are becoming a different person, with different traits and style. You would treat being in drag like an alter ego.
2: Performance Experience!
Performing in front of a crowd can be very nerve racking for some people. Most drag kings and queens do dance numbers, sing songs, and may other fun performance pieces while in drag-- depending on where you go, people give you tips while you perform!
3: Bursting Your âBubbleâ
Doing shows like this help many people get over their social issues, such as stage fright and shyness, and being around people who like the drag as well helps you open up and feel more at home!
Letâs face it guys. Itâs 2016. At some point in our lives we thrive to do and/ or be someone different. We also want to stay ourselves, but long to be someone else and live a life different than what we live now Why not get the best of both worlds, and drag it up!Â
 When playing the opposite gender, you experience all the downsides of being that gender.Â
For example, being hit on by men till you reject them as a woman is far different than being hit on by women till you reject them as a man.
For some people, the thrill of being hit on by the same gender is exciting, especially when they have no idea you are in drag.
