Everyone’s shipping Toph and zuko now because of the movie leaks but they don’t know what it was like in my 2020-2024 toko shipper era where it was impossible to find any new content besides maybe two or three writers. Not complaining it lowkey make a younger me so happy it popular now

I’ve been shipping them since the finale in 2008. DeviantArt and fanfic.net were my only sources of content. And even then, it was somewhat rare to come by.

Zuko watches helplessly as Tagah straight up murders Toph right in front of him. It isn’t until later in the movie, he’s given a second chance to save her from falling.

Bro just saw her die in front of him, OF COURSE he’s gonna tightly embrace her.

If this isn’t enough to rekindle my love for ToKo, I don’t know what is.
