Day 4, 5, and 6:
Swelling went down though talking for long periods of time was kind of exhausting. But I'm happy it's no longer sore and I can finally eat food like a normal person again!

Day 4, 5, and 6:
Swelling went down though talking for long periods of time was kind of exhausting. But I'm happy it's no longer sore and I can finally eat food like a normal person again!
Day 3:
Over the course of today I've actually felt the swelling go down. Eating solid foods is still a bit of a pain but with patience it's doable. Talking has also gotten much easier. I don't sound like a drunk and it's a good thing too because there's work tomorrow. Wish me luck!
Day 2:
My tongue feels like a pillow because of the swelling. But it doesn't ache or hurt at all. Talking is still a pain because i sound like I'm drunk when I say s-words. But hey, drinking lots of cold water and eating soft stuff has helped bunches.
I did it!
I finally got my tongue pierced! And let me tell ya the swelling is no joke. My tongue feels like it swelled three times its size. Luckily i dont have work for the next few days. The only question is how quickly I'll get tired of applesauce
Hey
random stranger, it may seem like today was a rough day and that tomorrow won't be any better, but you can change that. Do that one thing that makes you feel happy or productive. You'll feel better once you do. You're beautiful and you deserve to see it.
The truth is...
I didn't get my tongue pierced. I got a new job, which is good news, but I have to do training and be able to talk to people. A week of healing (maybe more) and not being able to talk isn't going to work. Bummer, but with other parts of life looking up, it could be worse.
Thank you for shining! You make the world a better place by being you!
Planning on getting my tongue pierced next week!
Do you ever feel like your previous life is speaking to you?
The feeling of walking outside to a cool breeze, with just a hint of autumn on the air, it's perfect
Have a beautiful day! By being you, you make the lives around you brighter. Keep on shining!
Been working up my courage to get a tongue piercing, myself, my wallet just seems to have something else in mind
