I did an animation of WAD!!

As someone who has struggled with depression and depressive episodes for 6 years, this show reminds me how much there is to hope for regardless how bleak everything seems.

It reminds me to hold on to the little things and appreciate what I have to keep me going, so I made an animation to put all of that in one place!! I hope you like it :)

I hung out with my two best friends yesterday. I’ve known these guys for nearly 6 years and we’ve been super close for most of that.

We all moved from our secondary to the same college but they stayed in the same friend group and I drifted to a new one. Obviously this isn’t a bad thing and I love my friends and I know im welcome with their friends whenever but I can’t help but feel stuck - like I’ve been left behind.

They’re going on a trip with their new friend group and again, it’s a good thing and I’m super excited for them but it’s also killing me a bit. I feel like they’ve been growing up and changing over the 6 years and I’m just stuck. They’re going off and exploring the world and doing amazing things while I’ve had the same interests for 5 years and am still processing stuff from before I even met them, trying to get by day to day.

It’s so strange because our dynamics are identical to what they were 4 years ago but it feels so different.

I love them so much and I’m so proud of the amazing people they’ve become and are becoming but I can’t help but grieve what it used to be, before we actually had to think about anything other us.

How this works!

Hello everyone, I'm soupy! A doodler here to make your mini phan-arios a reality!

Send me some Dan and Phil shenanigans as asks and I'll turn them into 2 scene comic strips! These are mostly fun doodles so don't expect art pieces, and dnp will be drawn in my simplified versions of them seen in my header etc (unless explicitly stated in the ask). If you're looking for proper dnp art, you can find some of mine on my main @soupy-soul0! There are some rules under the cut, but here is an example :>>

Rules

Scenes should be short enough to fit into 2 cells as seen above!

Characters: I can draw Dan and Phil as well as anyone in the extended Pham (eg the pheal, Golden pig etc) - equally I can draw my persona but I doubt anyone will be including them lmao

Innuendo and regular swears are allowed, however NSFW and slurs are not! I am a minor so please consider this when approaching my blog :>

Unless otherwise stated (and feel free to ask!) phan will be drawn in basic black and white heart tees seen in my header!

All comic strips will be in black and white - you can add some accent colours though!
