So Tom just wants to have fun, and I think he'd have a lot of fun with Catherine b/c it's sooo easy to get her to believe anything, haha. Plus, she's pretty and that always helps. I don't think he'd do anything too bad (like pulling a Wickham), but I can see him easily convincing her to do something that's not entirely proper. Like he can kinda serve as her John Thorpe type person (since idk if we're getting one??) Although he wouldn't be after her, romantically?? And I think she'd probably trust him/like him better because he has a lot of charm that John Thorpe does not have, haha. And like I think he'd always be able to spin things so they don't sound as bad as they are, haha.

I don't think he'd be in love with her or anything, but I def think that Tom would really like Marianne. All he wants out of life is to have fun and I think he's soooo bored in the country and that (at least out of the girls that are taken/reserved) he'd be most interested in chilling with Marianne, b/c she's so passionate and alive and wouldn't be against doing things that are slightly improper and basically he'd be a bad influence on her, I think. Plus, his BFF, Mr. Yates, is like seriously into theater and stuff and I can see him knowing some Shakespeare off the top of his head to recite to her and he'd just be all about what Marianne wants to hear. That being said, that's not going to stop him from flirting with other girls (although none so much as Marianne) so idk how she'd view that or if she'd think it's just his way or what, but yeah. :D

i feel like Elinor will not like Tom, especially if does show an interest in Marianne b/c I think it will just be SO CLEAR that things will NOT END WELL. Plus, he's already known about to be a no good kind of fellow who is gambling away his family's fortune and really doesn't care about responsibilities at all. Basically he's the complete opposite of Elinor, haha. And I think he'd find her to be soooo boring, haha.

So, I just said to Kate that I think that the Bertrams and Darcys probs know each other/probably have for a long time?? And I don't think Tom would have paid much attention to Georgiana until she got older and now he's probably all tom leroy like "your horizon's must be widened". :D Although it's probably more so to get a reaction out of her and/or Darcy. I think that Tom is like soooo bored in the country and basically looks to have fun where he can, haha.

So I can see the Bertrams and Darcys knowing each other?? But wow, I feel like Darcy would NOT like the Bertrams (except Edmund) and especially not Tom who was probably like BFFs with Wickham. Like he's not as bad as Wickham in that I don't think he goes around seducing young girls (but like then he does have a ton of money go he doesn't have to find himself a Georgiana -- although he might if he gambles all of his fortune away, haha). But WOW Tom would think Darcy is soooo boring and would probably try to get him to play cards/gamble with him just for the reaction and would like constantly be like "lighten up, man"
