Troian sat comfortably, happily by the pond, somewhat in her own little word. She was thinking mostly, lots of things on her mind, even some she didn’t want there. She shook it off then, this time being for her, and trying to rid herself of thinking anything else, but only how peaceful, pretty it was here - it really was. She hoped some familiar faces would be here soon though, and that being one thing she would like the most. Meeting new people though was good.
The actress thought she heard a voice, well after the sound of a child babbling, but thought it was for someone else. Looking up though just to be sure, she spotted him, and he seemed to be talking to her, she smiling with a soft nod.
"Not at all. Please. A nice time to be out, it isn’t it?"
It took a couple of moments for the girl to respond and Tom was about to repeat his question, wondering if she hadn't heard him. Then she was gazing up at him, consenting to his request and he shot her a smile of thanks.
"A wonderful time, I always forget how beautiful the weather in LA can be," he replied, trying to shush William who was now wriggling around and whining to get out. Unclipping the toddler's restraints he eased the boy out of the pram, his blue eyes following to ensure William didn't wander too far, or too close to the water's edge. Instead the boy seemed to go straight for their companion and Tom let out a chuckle.
"Oh dear, sorry about that. He seems to have my curiosity."
Stateside.
"Shouldn’t I? I suppose I’ll have to inform the God of Mischief he’ll have to take some time off ruling Asgard to come protect me from strange dashing men." With her brows raised her lips pulled into that oh so Melanie smile, wider than a mile. Moments like this she treasured these days. Both children, especially Mai, were out like lights within a matter of minutes it seemed. Even when she read to William and he’d doze off in the middle she would finish up the book and kiss his head before sneaking out. It was quiet in the house now, albiet the murmur from the television across the room. Now it was just her and her towering husband and a hopeful quite rest of the evening.
"They’re sleeping like the angels they are. I hope William wasn’t too much of a bother on you today." It seemed their son was just as curious about the world around them as Tom seemed to be, always running about and getting into things, asking tonnes of questions. Sighing happily she cosied up into his arms. At times being short was a pain in the ass but being cradled in his arms was possibly her most favourite thing in the world.
Chin now resting on his chest she peered up at him with those big bright eyes of hers. “I vote we open a bottle of that French wine, pull on some comfy pants and snuggle up on that sofa under whatever blanket you can manage to find.” On her very tip toes she managed to give him a kiss.
"The God of Mischief is a devious creature and he would probably trick you into his bed," Tom replied with a purr, his heart still skipping a beat when he saw that smile. It amazed him sometimes, how they could have been together for so long, have a family together and he was still in awe of her beauty. Like a fifteen year old boy running after the hot girl, giddy and unable to control himself. It was rare that the house ws so quiet and he felt very much like running after her indeed.
"Let's hope it stays that way," he said, chuckling softly. "He was fine darling, even managed to help me a bit and when he didn't, well I distracted him with the Huggle Monster...or maybe it was him that distracted me." Wrapping his arms around her Tom buried his nose in her hair, enjoying her scent.
"I think that sounds like a very nice plan indeed. You grab the wine and I'll grab the blanket and we can meet in the middle with the pants?" he suggested, leaning in to allow their lips to meet.
She tucked the journal underneath her thigh, taking a deep breath as she leaned back against the trunk of the oversized tree and crossing her arms over her chest, rubbing at her upper arms a bit to warm herself up some. She’d felt tough coming back from an already long winter in Canada, but perhaps she should have worn more than a thin hoodie. It wasn’t anywhere near freezing, but it wasn’t exactly balmy either. Closing her eyes, she leaned her head back against the rough bark as well, losing herself in her own thoughts for sometime before she heard another voice nearby.
Snapping her from her daydream, her eyes shot open and she immediately looked up, smiling when she saw the trio and shook her head “Not at all, make yourselves at home” she said “It’s a great view.” she added, looking back towards the water.
"Thank you," he replied, pulling a rug out from the pram storage and spreading it out. He was mostly silent for the next few minutes as he unpacked a few more items, before unbuckling William and letting him totter around, eventually sitting down crosslegged with Mai in his lap. Turning back to the girl he nodded in agreement. "A beautiful view for sure. I can't wait to get back into my schedule and come for a run along here as the sun is rising. I can only imagine what it must look like as the rays hit the water."
"Have you been around this area long?" he enquired, keeping one eye on William to make sure the toddler didn't walk too far.
I bring you pudding, enjoy! :)
Pudding? Oh how wonderful darling, thank you very much!
Stateside.
With both children put to bed finally, Melanie was finally able to breath. Trying to take care of a near two year old, a new born and truthfully, a husband that acted like a giant kid was a bit exhausting. That didn’t mean she wasn’t happy to get a bit of alone time with Tom for the first time in what felt like weeks since they’d packed up their London home. Sneaking quietly down the hallway she peeked her head around the corner of the doorframe.
Eyeing Tom up she smiled brightly at him. “Who is this dashing gentleman I see in my living room?” Slipping around the wall fully she moved to stand behind him, her arms wrapping around his waist as her cheek came to rest on his back. “Bon soir mon ami.” tomhiddlestonhere
Tom had honestly tried to help put the kids to bed, but Melanie had said something about him having unpacked all day and ushered him out down the hallway of their new house. Taking a seat on the couch in the living room he flicked on the TV, cycling through the channels until he found something half decent. If he listened he could hear the sounds of her reading William a story, and thanks to the monitor that sat on the coffee table in front of him he was soothed by her voice as she sang Mai to sleep.
All of it made him smile, and he feeling quite serene by the time his wife stuck her head around the door. "I don't know, but dashing or not you probably shouldn't let strange men into your house," he replied witha grin, beckoning her over to him. "Bon soir, darling. Have they settled down well?" he asked, though he knew the answer, and planted a kiss on her forehead.
Pushing the double pram down the edge of the pond Tom took in a deep breath, he could never quite get used to the mild winters. Back home he would be battling sleet and freezing temperatures if he dared to venture outside, and William and Mai would be bundled up resembling giant marshmallows. Instead they were in light jumpers and trousers. Mai was napping in the back section while William was in the front, looking around himself and babbling.
"Yes darling, there are ducks there, aren't there?" he commended the boy as he spat out the word. Pushing the pram to a stop under a tree he glancined over at a figure nearby.
"You don't mind if I set myself up here, do you?"
Tom sat down at the computer, stretching his fingers before resting them on the keys. It was a quiet moment for once and he decided to take advantage of it, having being told by his agent Luke, to fill out a detail form. Why? Who knew to be honest. With a deep breath, he began.

"Are you going to hoard all of our children now Tom?" Melanie inquired with a raised brow as she bit into an apple. Back against the counter she smoothed her hand over her small protruding belly. William stared up at his father and giggled a bit. "Mummy!" He shouted and squished Tom’s face between his hands.

"Maybe I just will. Though you will have to incubate that one for a while longer," he said with a chuckle. It quickly turned to a groan as William poked at his cheeks, once again calling him mummy. "No William, that's mummy there. I'm daddy. Can you say that? Daddy."

Gasping Melanie looked between William and Tom and put her hand over her chest. “Quoi? I would never.” She gave William a wink and pecked Tom on the cheek. “Well then Mr. Hiddleston, I think you should sit with him and just repeat daddy all day yes?”
He raised an eyebrow at her, making a small grunt that seemed to say 'oh of course not'. Sitting down he bounced the toddler on his knees, looking at the boy with concentration. "Maybe we will, huh William? And maybe daddy will get in there first with your sibling, hmm?" he mused, flicking his gaze to his wife's belly.

Swooping into the room with William on his hip he came to a standstill in front of the blonde, scowling at her playfully. "Mrs. Hiddleston, have you been teaching our son to only say mummy? He's refusing to call me anything else."
Well at least I didn’t get called a mewling quim!
As you should be! Oh, I’ve lied in L.A. for most of my life but just settled in Silver Lake a few months ago - how you finding it so far?
Yes, Loki saves that for those he despises the most. I'm finding it amazing here, definitely a nice neighbourhood in the city. It will be a good basis while Melanie and I work I think.
Tom Hiddleston’s gorgeous profile to lighten your mood.
Cheer Up || Tom & Norman
When Tom heard about Norman's injuries it seemed only just that the man receive some company and some damn good company at that. Which was why he was glad when the fellow actor accepted his offer of a good wine and a visit. It had been a while since he had bought alcohol in America and on his way to Norman's he spent probably more time than necessary scouring the wine shelves for the best possible bottle. After reading over the descriptions at least three times amongst his chosen few he eventually settled on one, purchasing it from a stuttering cashier.
Leaving behind an autograph he waltzed out with the bottle and into Melanie's slightly too small for his height car. Tapping the address Norman gave him into the GPS he was pulling up a short while later and knocking on the front door. "Hell friend, I hope you and I share a similar taste in good wines."
“Fuck. I wouldn’t have the energy for that at all. I’ve barely been able to function myself let alone be able to stay mindful of a toddler. Did Mélanie at least let you sleep while watching William?”
Oh yes, she's been an absolute dream. Well, I think she may have missed him a lot which helped in hogging the little blighter, but sleep was certainly welcome.
Merci mon chère. You’ll need the um…[mimics the motions and sound of the vacuum cleaner] yeah? It’s a bit messy. You do that and I will look up some child proofing stuff online. Oui?
{` he grins at her, finding her absolutely adorable when she struggled with English} Yes love, I'll go get the hoover now. Hopefully our little tyke will stay out of trouble while we do this.
