Here is the final piece for the Desperados brief.
Here are my final storyboards for my 3 final animatics. They explain the scenes that take place and the sound effects which will appear in the clips. Easily lay out.
My brief for Claybrook Flooring, thought i uploaded it ages ago.
Here is my animatic for the National Express advert. I tried to get across the fact that a couple on holiday are desperately trying to find their keys as they need to catch their plain. They keys ironically are having a better time than them, giving the appearing it is on a sun bed in the opening scene. Throughout the hotel scene, the camera would pan backwards to reveal the state of the hotel room. Then would cut to a voice over and a clip of the coach and the inside. Ending on the logo and a hashtag to tie the campaign together.
This, and the Walkers animatic took a very long time. Is my first time creating an animatic it was a unique but in the end a fun experience.
Story board for the animatic (scamp) then the radio and notes, shows development and idea concept work
My final walkers advert. I tried to add a bit of humour and link back to the target audience (young adults). The voice might amuse younger audiences too, and relate back to moms.
Here is my animatic made from my storyboard images. I have never made an animatic completely by myself before. I found it difficult, however I researched how to make them, and learnt a new skill in order to present my ideas. The story goes that you are teleported to the Walking Dead Studio through the packet of crisps (design of door on packet), in which you go through the studio as the camera (first person), while walking round the studio you are thrust into makeup, thrown into a class for zombies, have to model as a zombie, and have to walk/train to be a zombie. After all this the camera walks towards the seat for a rest and a snack. When the director asks for Gary to be on set. The camera will reveal you were Gary Lineker the whole time, he will be in zombie costume. This will cut to the end scene in which Gary didn’t get to enjoy his crisps. With additional copy and information.
Gary needs a P, but we’ve hidden another #SpellandGo letter in this video. Watch it to spot it, take a screenshot of it, upload to the website to claim it...
Another clip for the spell and go campaign for walkers. research and inspiration to help me create my animatic.
Zombie gym scene. The advert would be first person (camera is you) as you walk around the set. You see the zombie school, in which you would see a zombie walking on a treadmill.
Final Animatic - NHS Breast Screening
The mark scheme says that collaboration and enterprise is important. I feel we grow cherries is a great way to show case my work, and can link to my portfolio.
Screen shot of my story board so far, I am aiming to create some form of animatic, with the hope of getting across my idea for a tv advert. I want at least 4 or 5 more segments. The story would go like this:
Start with the product (crisps)
Would zoom into the don't open dead inside image on packet
would turn into the doors of the filming studio for the walking dead
see the set from a distance (first person)
see a class of zombies learning how to be zombies
photoshoot of zombie modelling (for promos)
zombies exercising
makeup artists brushing at your face (1st person)
would cut to a scene in which a zombie extra would sit down on chair (it would zoom up to be gary lineker with a packet of crisps) rushed away before he can eat.
end image
I have created a print poster ad for the Walkers target audience of young adults (my age range). The concept of the Walking Dead would already excite someone who already watches. I wanted to (try) and add humour with the fact the packet of crisps are next to the tools to survive (weapons-hammer and bat) the shadow is of a zombie reaching for the crisps, suggesting maybe brains is not the only thing on its mind. I changed the tone bit to accommodate as the audience should be aware of the content of the program. I am happy with this piece, aesthetically it looks pleasing too.
second final poster design for the national express campaign. Testing out different opacities on the gaussian blur filter.
A second idea which would follow the leave your keys campaign. Idea for this one would be the fact that you need every last inch of space, and saying that keys would take up room is slightly exaggerated, however this adds to the humour. Personal insight, what some think as important, others might not.
Mock up of final advert.
Final poster design for now. Added the copy and hashtag, as I feel a strong social presence would boost this campaign. I believe that there is enough information on this piece for a person to understand what is going on with the campaign, however the hashtag would serve as a ‘backup’ for people to look up.
