All of these asks I'm getting, about the conventions that the cast of 911 is going to and how theyre "comfortable." You guys really don't know how conventions work. What are the actors supposed to do grimace when you bring up your favorite ship. My god you guys are daft.

Since the account is private I’ll keep it like that to not show her
IM SCREAMING.
People have nothing better to do then to sit on their computers and hide behind Anon and try to tell me I'm bigoted and racist.
Y'all have too much time on your hands.
Babes, what about that is attacking you? I pointed out the character and franchise you stan.
And I've expressed dislike for how white *racist* characters are absolved of their racism by fandom, my darling, I know this is really hard to understand but a) that is not hating on *white* characters, and b) reverse racism isn't a thing. But if you think it is... *yikes* is where I'll leave it.
Are you sure about that Nonnie?
(Interpersonal Prejudice)Many argue that anyone, regardless of race, can hold racial prejudice. Under this definition, racism is viewed as individual acts of racial bias, hatred, stereotyping, or discrimination directed at another person because of their race. By this measure, a black person can act with racial prejudice toward a white person
I didn't attack you, my god. So dramatic.
But you did not seriously just pull the reverse racism card. "You seem to hate white people, so who's racist now" - Do you hear yourself?
Did you not say and I quote
"Seeing that you stan a racist character (save the excuses, they're headcanon reaching at best) AND the transphobe's franchise dripping with racism honestly tracks. "
That is considered attacking babes.
And you have been hating on white characters so.
So to you, this is just an Eddie vs Tommy thing. Should have known the moment you brought up Ryan completely unprompted and ignored when I was baffled by that. My god. You don't even know what I think of Eddie btw. I've literally only mentioned something from canon that I know you're judging in comparison. I've at no point said my piece on Eddie. I don't care how Eddie stans act, and in my opinion there is not an unproblematic fave on the show. Including yours, but you can't accept that, because his brand of unproblematic is icky, so he needs to be fully absolved of it without canon actually absolving him of it. I get it. I've seen that in so many different fandoms. Always with a white guy. And the thing is, I'm old enough and have seen it in enough fandoms to know that if any bipoc and/or female character acted like this, they'd be crucified by fandom. I understand the need to be hyper defensive in this case, bc Tommy's a gay man. But I promise you it's okay to acknowledge that he's a racist who we're meant to believe Is No Longer Racist without the show actually acknowledging that in any meaningful way (other than himself very vaguely acknowledging that he feels bad about how he used to be, stop claiming I'm ignorant of that one line and how much heavy lifting you need it to do). One of these days someone will have that nuance. But I think you're so deeply entrenched in making it an Us vs Them thing, a Tommy vs Eddie, a Lou vs Ryan, that you get IMMEDIATELY lost in the sauce of a war you're fighting that I'm just not even part of. But hey, more power to you.
LOL then why are you acting like a high schooler. You ATTACKED me first, you could have minded your own damn business and moved along. I did say he was racist 20 some odd years ago. But you seem to be ignoring the fact that I did say it.
I don't care what your stand is on Eddie. And YOU shouldn't care what other people think about Tommy. But you had to take the time out of your day to try to get me to agree with you and force me to see your way.
With you it seems like it's your way or no way.
And honestly you seem to hate white people so who is the racist person now?
Are you American? I feel like assuming that everyone who uses British rather than American English has to be from the UK is just a very American thing. I'm not mad about that btw, I just find it funny that you're trying to come off SO analytical and intellectual and yet you keep missing with your assumptions about me. Listen, maybe I'm hiding on anon. But tbh I get enough shit from racist members of my primary fandoms that I'm not gonna invite the Tommy stans to come do the same. I've been called the N word for pointing out another popular white fave in another fandom is racist enough times. Maybe y'all are more chill over here (see how I can use y'all without being from the US btw), but I don't know that, so I'm not gonna open myself to that. Not a dig at you personally, btw, I'm not saying you'd do that. I'm just not interested in finding out if the 911 corner is Like That. Believe it or not, most stans of racist characters are not pleasant to deal with. Shocker. I do know what it's like to be in the closet, and I do know what it's like to grow up in times when that was very necessary. I also know what it's like to exist in times and environments where racism, misogyny, homophobia etc etc etc are considered normal and/or "funny". I never used that as an excuse to be actively bigoted. See I would have more sympathy for Tommy if he was in the closet and was afraid to speak up against Gerard and that other white guy from those flashback episodes. But the point you keep missing is that there's a difference between not speaking up / not being a good ally / etc, and choosing to go on the offensive. Gerard didn't make Tommy racist. Gerard created a work environment in which it wasn't safe for Tommy to be out, and in which it wasn't safe to be a person of colour or a woman, which are things Chim and Hen didn't get to be in the closet about. Tommy chose to protect his marginalized identity by punching down. He SHOULD feel bad for that. I feel bad for the things I've had to unlearn in my life. But my then closeted queerness did not *make me* say racist things. Not speaking up around other people saying racist things did not *make me* say racist things. Tommy *chose* to do that in order to add another much less understandable layer of protection to his own marginalized identity. If they could have Tommy acknowledge this about himself, they could have shown us him make actual amends/apologies, in the present or in flashbacks. They could have the people he victimized not just have to arrange themselves with him, but acknowledge that he changed and/or apologized to them. He didn't. Most of what you are citing is pure headcanon. So yeah, if Buck is too forgiving, then Chim and Hen were too forgiving, too. But they HAD to be. It's a survival tactic. Tommy doesn't get a medal for weaponizing his whiteness against them JUST because he did it protect his own marginalized identity that he (understandably) chose to keep hidden. Just like Eddie should have actually apologized to Buck, Tommy should have done the same to Hen and Chim. Kust because Buck is cool with Eddie doesn't mean Eddie is absolved of wrongdoing, and just because Chim and Hen are cool with Tommy, doesn't mean he's absolved of his racism. But you measure on different scales because Tommy is a gay man and you like the ship. How's that for an assumption?
Love that you skip the part that he DID say something on screen but it's cool you don't like Tommy and that's fine. Maybe look at the people who stan Eddie they are the ones that say the most degrading things to people who like Tommy. Tommy fans are chill to be honest but you are missing the point. And that is fine. You just don't want to listen to people who understand Tommy you just chose to hate him for something that happened 20 some odd years ago.
What Eddie is doing is in the present so if anything people should be mad at Eddie and not Tommy 🤷♀️
I'm an adult, I stan none of the actors. In fact, there's very little I know about any of them. I'm talking to you about a fictional character. I've made no comment about Tommy's actor, so I'm not sure why you're bringing in another character's actor. What point are you even trying to make? You making this assumption says so much about you, though. So I'll cap you off before you make up more nonsense: I'm not on any actor's, character's or ship's "team". Miss me with that juvenile shit, please and thank you. As for the rest. My god. Chim was the only person of colour on the team for YEARS. Hen was only the second person of colour, and remains the only woman of colour on that team. If you can rationalize why a white man would remain in the closet for fear of discrimination, but you cannot understand why two people of colour would *have* to learn to be okay with the casual racism and micro aggressions from someone like Tommy, then I have news for you. They had to work with the man for years, in a job where close bonds are forged. He likely saved their lives multiple times, they likely saved his multiple times. Them being cool with him does not mean that he's not racist. Him experiencing discrimination for his queer identity does not mean he is absolved of or redeemed for his racism. If anything, the fact that he hid his queer identity out of legitimate fear and hid behind the privilege afforded to him by his whiteness in order to weaponize that privilege and push down on other marginalized people who CANNOT hide what makes them marginalized makes him so. much. worse. I have seen on screen where the people he victimized have arranged themselves with that. I have not seen on screen where he has made amends for it. Do you assume the former implies the latter happened off-screen? Because that's a reach and puts a lot of heavy lifting on head canons. You have to understand that in order to make Tommy look better or at least like he's working on himself, they needed to show him acknowledge his OWN behaviour, apologize for it, and make an effort to unlearn it and be better. None of that happens on screen, we're not told that any of it happens off screen, you just assume it does. Because the characters he victimized had to learn to live with the racism from their boss and their peers, Tommy included. I don't think you know how this shit works. Why is it so hard for people like you to just say 'Yes, he's racist and we don't know if we ever worked on himself'. You can still like him, why the need to make up headcanons to absolve him of his canon character flaw? Since you brought Ryan up, let me make a comparison: Do you assume Eddie has made off-screen apologies for every time he was unfair to Buck and wasn't shown apologizing on-screen, just because him and Buck are cool afterwards? Because I saw posts from you that suggest otherwise. Interesting, then, that the white man has been redeemed off screen because the people of colour are okay with him, but the man of colour is not afforded the same benefit of the doubt according to your own posts. Interesting, but typical. (disclaimer: not an Eddie stan, not defending his actions from my side either, just curious about the parallel here)
First of all Nonnie you came at ME with your juvenile bullshit. You hide behind Anon because you don't want people attacking you, which is fair since you obviously have bark and no bite. Which is OKAY! Not everyone can handle the heat 🤷♀️ And no assumption here, honestly why do you care what one person has to say about something, do you have nothing better to do then start high school bullshit drama?
Ah so the way you write color, I can see you are from the UK cool, cool. You do realize that Tommy did that because of Gerard right? He was a homophobic and racist piece of shit, and he didn't want Gerard to know that he was gay. I'm guessing you do not know what it's like to be in the closet because you are scared of what the people around you and the world around you is going to do. Back then it was not okay to be homosexual so he was protecting himself while being someone that he did not want to be. You are so set to believe that people do not change. If you are the same person that you were a decade ago, I feel sorry for you. People grow each and every day and that is what Tommy did. When he saw how powerful Hen was to be an out lesbian and a black woman and saw how she stood up to Gerard he then realized that it was okay to be an openly gay man so he decided to change his ways. Let me just remind you that Tommy told Buck in season seven when he was having dinner with him that he didn't like who he was then. But you assume the worst and don't actually LISTEN to dialogue which tracks with you coming at me like some 16 year old who doesn't get their way and is having a temper tantrum. Was he racist over 20 something years ago and did some microagressive shit, of course he was but again I say look who his captain was. I beg of you to PLEASE go back to season 7 when Bobby is in the hospital and listen to Tommy's dialogue to Buck you will learn a lot.
And as for Eddie, and what he does to Buck, no I don't think he has done anything of the sort Buck is just too forgiving of everyone.
But have the day you deserve.
is the redemption in the room with us? Listen, I get it, he's a canon gay character, so you cannot allow for the fact that he is also canonically racist. But the victimised bipoc characters not holding a grudge towards the racist does not absolve the racist of his racism. that's not how that works. it doesn't make him not racist.
Oh my fucking god are you fucking daft?
If the two POC characters FORGAVE HIM and TALK TO HIM he had his damn redemption.
Let me guess you are a Ryan Guzman fan who is in fact racist in rl and he is homophobic. But you don't care and it shows 🤣
Seeing that you stan a racist character (save the excuses, they're headcanon reaching at best) AND the transphobe's franchise dripping with racism honestly tracks.
Hmm let's see
Season 7 episode 3 Hen is shocked to see Tommy and is happy for Tommy to help
Season 7 episode 4 Chimney says "Tommy I love that guy"
Please tell me again he is racist? He had his redemtion get the fuck out of here.
So Creation Entertainment on the schedule for the convention for Nashville shows that they will be back in Nashville for 2027. I'm planning on going for my 38th birthday and for shits and giggles I looked at prices. Cheapest $550 most expensive $1.2k JFC it sucks living in NY.

Omg I'm so sorry Nonnie I thought I answered this. YES! It is so obvious 🤭
i'm sure that oliver does know about bucktommy fans and was just being a troll or whatever but your quote from that article is really about the bi buck storyline, not about tommy specifically.
But Tommy helped with the bi storyline 😊 hope that helps ☺️
