iwtv the show's problem is they think people care more than they actually do + would re: some key stuff. in story and outside of it. they forget the number one rule is that ppl care far less than u think, u have to make them care. anyway show is doomed even the lestat show. iwtv s1 actually had a better chance.

the decision guys for the show incl. the writers are like twitter brained echo chambered. rolin kinda has to be to keep making the show like when he puts up fanart on the wall idk what the excuse is for the other ppl.

maybe part of the reason Robert Pattinson became a good actor (he was never bad but hes notably better) is everyone called him a bad actor or didnt think anything of him bc of twilight. there are SO MANY actors right now who don't even seem to realize how bad they are and they're constantly being told not just by fans but by their showrunners or directors and by a bunch of online movie reviewers (who are they?? what the fuck do they even care about when they dont even care about being right about what good art is) that they are really good and generational and a star and yet when u put them up against something truly good to see what they are really made of they are found so incredibly wanting.

being good doesn't even matter anymore. being called good does. time used to be a good indicator but now I'm seeing bad movies and bad acting from five years ago being nostalgia-jerked over.

#jacob elordi gets praised for euphoria but he obviously sucks #sam reid getting praised to the skies for lestat but he overacts so badly in everything hes often unwatchable #and he fails to connect to anything true outside of his own head #connor storrie obviously has no understanding of character or emotion #timothy chalamet is a smidgen better than his peers but hes like 30 and he cant even touch the toes of what heath ledger did at 22 #austin butler throws everything into his roles but hes too stupid to be great #paul mescal cant even walk right in a scene and idk its like he keeps missing what hes supposed be doing as an actor #hes focused on sth stupid like his sadness probably #theres a billion others #all soulless probably #*zi voice* its cause none of them read #me: jacob elordi reads tho #zi: it's cause hes stupid #anyway a real and honest and true opinion on actors and even movies is hard as fuck to find now which is annoying for me personally #like the most true thing ill see is a random comment or sth no ones sees #and haters on twitter dont know anything just in reverse

oscar Isaac has such a nice face for acting I was so disappointed with him in dune hes such a failure as an actor its such a simple role the heroic dad of the main character and leader of a noble house fated to die tragically? a role that should be just another tuesday for a good actor and yet he was nothing in it. he lit just has that face for no reason.
