And I mean, enough man gave compliments a bad rap, I am well aware and the scorn is quite deserved and I am a rambling mess. I think I need another drink, this is the rambling stage of my buzz. I’m team ‘anything but rum’. Usually, I’ll get a few raised eyebrows considering the circumstances but ‘the rum is gone’ in my eyes. It’s a drink that’s hard to perfect, I’m a but once you find the knack for it there’s no going back. I think that you’re right, and it’s nice to have those characters that hold that special place in your heart and mind. It’s funny, you growing up with sisters and being roped in. I have an older brother and was a real tomboy growing up. And now, like you, parenting girls and being roped into playing fairies and castles. Cannot forget the tea parties either - what’s your secret? Tell me your ways! Jetlag gets us all, once it hits, there’s no way of fighting it. It was a good time, I managed not to get too carried away, maybe a sign that I am, indeed, starting to grow up and become an adult. 

In that case I fear we must find another beverage to taste and enjoy. Though talking about it, I now suddenly find myself wanting to host a tasting. Or visit one, either way is fine with me. Now, what kind of exotic drink would you like to for a tasting? I need ideas. Well, seems like we’re polar opposites in a way then. Not that that is bad, I just agree, kind of funny. And I mean, I am not saying I am not sometimes a blubbering stupid man-man, as my former partners have told me none too kindly. But at least it really drove the point home how silly all the gender specific stuff is. I think I look quite dashing with pink glitter as eye shadow and I am not being funny, I actually do like it. Well, for tea parties, the only tip I can share is that it is all about the biscuits. Always remember that. So you still don’t feel entirely adult sometimes? Does that only show in you partying every now and then or in other ways as well?

How it happened? Blimey, if only I knew! I took a brisk walk into town because my pantry is still sadly empty. And so I wanted to buy some bread and ... well, I imagine while I fiddled about with my letterbox they braved an escape, the ruddy buggers.

I do try to be friendly. Especially with friends, though strangers sometimes are lucky enough to catch a whisp of my charms, too. If I were to try and win you over, I probably would act a little differently. Hmm, well, I will strive to become your favourite something else additionally to being your favourite devil, though I realize that takes time. Did your kids have that daddy phase yet? Where suddenly mommy just isn’t cool anymore and they shift all their attention to dad? My ex wife hated that time, kept asking if I thought she was a bad mom because her little worms didn’t love her anymore. Just a phase, but it shook her a little. The Yoghurt hit everywhere. Me, the wall, the table and it dripped on the floor, it was quite the Jackson Pollock.

So you only ramble when you’re new? Does that mean it is going to stop now? Well, as long as the excitement sticks around. I need to find more conspirators to help me get this town dancing. Or partying. Or doing naughty deeds or any combination of them. I do try to be nice, even if there are some people who would never call me that. My ex wife, for example, so don’t talk to her about me, just pretend you don’t know me. Hot elf dad, what an interesting description. Well, I used to be a young and strapping Robin Hood and now I’m just the lord of hell. So, anyway, are you settling in well?

Is there no affection left for your old pal that I am settled with Garfield? Not even the lasagna, just Garfield. You and me, throwing a party together? tickle me pickled! No, that’s now how the saying goes ... pickle my prickle? Okay, I’m done. No, yes, definitely! I would love for us to do that, how about the second half of february? Give everyone time to recover from the hangover the wedding will surely give them.

I’m not even complaining. I love this. I love being all bundled up, and also the prospect of walks in the snow is wonderful, so this is great! Aww, I’m good. Making the best of this whole strange time and since I just returned from spending some time with family, I should not be comlpaining at all! Pirates? Where? Nobody told me! Actually, you’re probably better bribing me with a margarita than the rum - it’s horrible stuff, can’t stomach it, which is probably why I would make the worst pirate. Not to sound like I’m kissing your ass right back, I’m a fan of yours too. Lucifer is great, but Miranda is going to hold a special place in my heard. You can do manly grunts and get your glittery nail polish at the same time, surely? I did - I mean, kind of hard not to be roped into it when it’s talk of the town. I’m assuming you have too? Cue the margaritas! 

A margarita? Well, I am sure I can remember that. Though I think I now want to change your mind about rum. It’s a beverage that can easily go wrong, but if done right, it’s divine. Even if, yes, there’s always a bit of a burn. So it’s actually perfect for this snow storm we’re having. Well, go us then, appreciating each other from afar. Makes us finally meeting all the better. I think Miranda is one of those little entertainment miracles that comes around seldomly but lingers on your mind. Gary is always someone I love returning to. Me? Yeah, I definitely can. When you parent a gaggle of girls and grow up with only sisters all that comes quite naturally. I am also very skilled at throwing tea parties, if you ever have the need. I did get involved, though I fear I bowed out earlier than my usual. Jetlag got the better of me. Did you have a good time?
