Here’s a thing I made with my brother. I’m told it’s a little Steven Universe-y, which is high praise. It’s a cover of this, a song my friend Jeremy made.

I made a noise.
Eli "Paperboy" Reed, "Won't Give Up Without a Fight."
Quick upload for someone on Ask Metafilter looking for hot hi-hat action.
Charisma.com: HATE.
I am loving this. (Warning: cartoonish violence and suicide imagery.)
YES YES YES YES YES TO ALL OF THIS
(Thank you, @narrativepriorities.)
Some high school kids totally nailing Moondog's Bird's Lament.
I recorded this cover of the Steven Universe theme using nothing but my phone. So that's pretty cool.
Holy fucking shit.
Environment matters.
On this day in 1949: Tom Waits was born in Pomona, California.
Today’s soundtrack: TW, all day, played through a million junk yard speakers pulled out of American steel.
Today’s screening: BIG TIME, DOWN BY LAW, IRONWEED, SHORT CUTS, COFFEE AND CIGARETTES, MYSTERY MEN, DOMINO, and Tom on FERNWOOD TONIGHT.
Today’s 6am to 6am party: Waitstock.
Today’s sage advice: “Never trust a man in a blue trench coat, never drive a car when you’re dead”
Today’s quotes:
“We are buried beneath the weight of information, which is being confused with knowledge; quantity is being confused with abundance and wealth with happiness. We are monkeys with money and guns.”
“Never have your wallet with you onstage. It’s bad luck. You shouldn’t play the piano with money in your pocket. Play like you need the money.”

And here's a hi-hat solo from Duke Ellington drummer Dave Black, so that's pretty cool.
A cover I belatedly did for some dear friends as a sort of wedding gift (?). Recorded entirely on the OP-1, mastered (??) in Ableton.
I bought T.R.A.S.E. -- Tape Recorder and Synthesizer Ensemble, and it's real good so far.
But what I think is truly notable about the cover, here, is how obviously that's John Egbert and Dave Strider.
THREE! TWELVE! SHIT!
Speaking of 3-2-1 Contact...
I think the title of this piece pretty much sums it up. This is music to be 11 years old to.
