Alec made his way up to the rooftop for the first time since he had moved into the building. It was a soft, spring night and although there was a chill in the air, Alec didn’t have a coat. He gazed up at the sky and smiled to himself as he watched the stars above him started to appear and the cyan sky turned to an inky black. “It’s lovely up here isn’t it?” He murmured to the person he heard approaching. “ I  was told you could see the Milky way up here.” He put his finger to his lip and thought for a moment before continuing. “Or maybe it’s Orion's belt.”

Toni would be on the roof top every now and then and now that it was officially spring, she was going to be up here even more. When she noticed someone else, she twirled her finger around her hair from where she sat on the couch on the roof. “Umm... I never heard that. Who told you such thing and could you point them out for me if you see them”

“Damn if only I came to Denver earlier before she hook, line, and sink you.” She spoke as she saw the small smirk towards her way. At least he was being playful with her. That much she was thankful for. “Oh man, pour me that signature drink and tell me more about the trick into marriage. I would tell the mother, not today bitch, if I were you.” Shaking her head lightly. “Well Switzerland, her and I got into a fight I think she was trying to get this whole event up and running at the time and she was being a little too whiney for my liking.”

Toni wasn’t going to say it, but she did like the clothes that Kat made. “No she hasn’t. I think if I get a dog they would be more loyal and around the apartment than your sister.”

It’s nothing really. Just a stupid fight from like a month ago”

Andrew placed a hand over his heart. “I am touched. And possibly in slight denial that you’re keeping a secret hideaway from me.” He narrowed his eyes a bit as if waiting for her to crack before he smiled. Ever since that night he stopped her from getting in her car, seeing that vulnerable side of her, he liked to keep her close. He felt protective of her in the same way he felt with his siblings; family. So, yeah. Andrew couldn’t convince himself that any hint of a smile on her lips was sincere. “I don’t keep all of my secrets away from you. Hell you are probably one of the few people at least the only person that knows how my brain works” Toni nudged him once again as she folded her arms on top of each other while sitting there next to him. “Yea I guess.. I’ve just been in a funk.” She stated to him. “Like, I’ve never been turned down before. Haven’t had someone turn me down for sex and then of course people are all lovey dovey around the apartments and it makes me sick just thinking of it.” She shivered at the thought of everyone. “I don’t know.. it falls into that category of loneliness”

Lilja braced herself as she took Toni’s hand before the other woman hauled her up to her feet. The sudden shift made her feel a little queasy but she was able to keep it down. She swayed about, having to get her balance back but after a second she was fine enough and moving towards the elevator. As Toni gave a suggestion, Lilja gave a small frown. “As appealing as that sounds I unfortunately can’t eat either of those. Do you have any toast or oatmeal?” She asked, looking at the woman apologetically. She hated sounding picky and needy due to her dietary restrictions. 

Making their way to the elevator, Toni was going to make sure Lilja had a great breakfast to cure her hangover. Like her mother always said, nothing like a hearty breakfast to start your day off. That and her drunk Uncle was always one to make a mean scrambled egg when really it was suppose to be an omelet. Pressing her floor level, she looked back to Lilja when she said she couldn’t have either. “You can’t have eggs? Umm.. yea I do have toast and some jam. What can you eat? I can make it up if I have the stuff for it”

Robin held Toni close, just looking over the city lights as she listened to the other speak. She couldn’t help but laugh a little when Toni answered her question and pulled back some so she could meet her eye. “What are you some wacky klepto?” She asked jokingly. “How’d you wind up kicking a mall cop?” She asked. She’d robbed a Best Buy when she was sixteen of a laptop, so she couldn’t really judge. As far as breaking laws went, Robin was in fact the last person that could say anything.

When the kiss broke and Toni agreed, the corners of Robin’s lips curved upward into a little smirk. Toni was hot, why shouldn’t they have fun? They were both daring and single and stuck on the roof until they felt good enough about everything to climb down and go back to Queens without being caught, why not occupy their time with something naughty? “Glad I gaged the kind of girl you are correctly.” She teased before closing her arms and tightening her embrace of the woman when she felt her take her bottom lip between her teeth. Robin ran her hands up the girls sides so that the others top had started to ride up on her waist, while Robin let her hands roam over the others torso. She pressed her lips back to Toni’s, and unlatched the girls bra with her left hand as they made out.

“Maybe I am?” she said with a small hint of question in her voice. “Well when you’re seventeen and trying to get away with stealing some clothes from a store you’d do anything to get away with it” Toni explained with a small laugh attached but now her focus was on Robin rather than the story about the time she kicked a mall cop. She hoped that she wasn’t too lame or too wild for Robin at this point but to her it seemed Robin was the same amount of wild that Toni was and she liked it. 

The thrill she had shared with the woman just now was a test of how alike and how daring they were. Toni would do this again if she wanted to with Robin. Toni’s smile was a ghost against Robin’s lips from when she spoke and all Toni could do was laugh softly. Happy they had this night to themselves and due to the situation they had plenty of time to kill. Feeling Robin’s hand move along her body and shedding her top, Toni’s hands moved downward. Capturing the curve of Robin’s figure and soon taking hold of her upper thigh. A grasp near her ass as well. 

Toni’ arched her back, bringing her body closer to Robin’s so she could feel the heat of the other while they continued to kiss. Lips smacking and really enjoying the taste of the other woman.

“So you’re definitely coming?” Zara asked with a big smile on her face. “It will be amazing, babe. A friend of mine from home came last year so he’ll probably come again and you’ll adore him. He enjoys a good party and will stick to the dance floor and bar just like us,” she smirked. “But I’l probably get a villa or something but keep the weekend open.”

“Wow,” Zara smirked as Toni continued to compliment her more. Zara always ate up compliments and this was no different but if her cheeks heated up slightly at how sweet the words were then no one besides the two people here would know. “I’m just going to ring you up anytime I’m a little down in the dumps,” she smiled.

“I’m a bit sad we haven’t done this before,” Zara pouted slightly. “We could have just talked each other up whilst enjoying an amazing meal plus some wine,” she said as she took another bite of the meal that Toni had made for them. “He is great. I’ll have to come around to the store and see you in action. You can try to talk me into buying the most expensive thing there- do you get commission?” 

“Yea I’ll definitely come with you. It’ll be super fun and who’s your friend does he live here as well?” Toni questioned the other woman. “Just give me a reminder and I’ll make sure to ask for the time off, because I’d rather spend time with you in LA than be trapped here working a seven hour shift at Walmart” She chuckled as she took her wine glass and took another sip from it. Seeing that her compliments gave Zara a glow and wonderful smile to her face, made Toni feel good. Made her know that she was still in the game. Besides Zara was a beautiful woman and she loved spending time with her. 

“Ring me up anytime you need me. I’m always one to cheer you up, whatever way you need me” Toni winked at the other brunette. “We can make this a regular thing if you want. Though I’m telling you next time, I may just order take out. This is great but it’s rare I can actually make a meal” She joked. “If I get you to buy a speaker system or record player, I’ll be set. And yea I do get commission”

“So I know you’ll appreciate this and I just need to tell the world what happened today.” Eisley said as she looked over to the other person who was with her in the club house area. “Today when I was shopping for some new shoes I saw some family in the same aisle as me. Everything seemed okay except for the moody little teenager that was pouting and rolling her eyes at her mom. When I go to leave the aisle, I hear the mom say something to the girl and the girl must have mumbled something because what I heard next was something I never expected.” Eisley began laughing, thinking back to it all. She forced herself to get the next part out, knowing it probably wasn’t as funny to the other as it was to her. “The mom screamed in the middle of the store , ‘Courtney, you can’t wear leopard print to a funereal!‘ I’m dead serious, it was the best thing I’ve ever heard.”

Toni smiled to Eisley and listened to her story about the angsty teen and the mother at the shoe store. She was waiting for the kicker of the whole thing and when Eisley started laughing, soon Toni was as well. “Ooh my god, that’s freaking amazing. I mean if I were the girl I would be fighting back, like leopard is a statement ma’! You can’t tell me what to do. But that’s just gold “ Toni chuckled with Eisley

Rain Rain #004

The perfect weather that Toni prefers is when it rains. It’s soothing, calm, and relaxes her. The temperature outside of the cool air mixed with the pidder sound against sidewalks, windows, makes Toni take her mind off of the bad things and focus on what’s happening outside. Growing up she would actually go outside, play in the rain, splash puddles, and get muddy from all of this until her mother would yell at her to come inside before caught a cold.

The weather was already dire and Lydia should have known better than to go outside without an umbrella. After coming back home yesterday, it occurred to her that there wasn’t all that much stocked up food wise. So, she took it upon herself to go shopping for some groceries. Carrying a couple of heavy, plastic bags in each hand, part of her wished that she had took her car instead of deciding to walk. Sure, there was the option to call a cab but it was pointless now as she could see the apartment building in sight. Taking quick strides along the sidewalk, tightening her grip on the bags, she continued to remind herself that she was almost there. Her walking came to a screeching halt as the heavy bags she’d been carrying suddenly felt… weightless.  One look at the ground confirmed her fears, along with the sound that came along with the contents of her bags falling to the ground. A groan emitted from her lips as she sighed, cursing at herself for lacking common sense in the first instance. “Congratulations, Lydia. You’ve been home for no less than twenty four hours and you’ve already managed to make a mess,” She muttered sarcastically to herself, brushing some of her wringing wet hair away from her face and behind her ear. “This is completely fine. Never wanted those eggs anyway,” Lydia added with a sardonic smile as she slowly bent down in an attempt to try and collect some of her stuff together. The items that weren’t smashed across the pavement, that is.

When it came to rain, it was like a zen for Toni. She was calm, easy going, and more relaxed due to the sounds of the rain and how cool it was out there. As a child she would dance in the rain and have all the fun until her mother would tell her to get inside before she caught a cold. As she was finally coming up to the building with her umbrella twirling between her umbrella, she was humming a soft tone. Only to catch eye on Lydia and all the bags she had. Only to see the eggs go down. “NOT THE EGGS!!” Toni exclaimed with laughter, soon going up to the woman. “Lydia, how did I know it was you who dropped it?” She teased her friend.

Sutton stopped from walking when she saw the name on her phone, it was the P.I she asked to look into the woman who claimed to be her birth mother, “Hello?” she answered the phone and listened to the man talking on the other end of the line, “Are you sure? I need you to check it. Double check it. Triple check it. I don’t care, I just need it to be very, very, very sure,” she insisted though maybe she was just denying it because it’s so much easier if the woman isn’t her real birth mother. She ended the call and quickly opened up the email the man sent her, some documents and some pictures, she was so distraught she didn’t realized someone was around her.

Toni was one to be nosy and for that, she didn’t care if people called her out on the busy or not but she found it exciting and fun for her entertainment to mess with others. So when she was passing Sutton and hearing an odd phone call she couldn’t help but laugh. Once the woman realized that Toni was standing close to her, Toni rose her eyebrows only to have a rest on her natural bitch face. “Triple check what? Hope this is a very very very important thing” She mocked with a grin.

Teen Angst #003

During school and any part of her education, Toni didn’t have much of an attention span. She wasn’t an ace student nor did she care that much. She was one to go to football games and parties. Hang out with anyone that gave her the attention. Mainly the country boys that wanted to smoke pot or get laid, which is where she tried to fit in. All the girls didn’t care to look at Toni for they thought she was too odd and too different, along with name calling and calling her a whore. Which she didn’t care less.
