ooc: where's everybody????
I’ll be in my dorm.
You should sleep more and worry less, Remus. Or you won't survive your O.W.L.s. Or maybe eat some chocolate. They always help, right?
"No way you never heard of Quidditch, Tonks! It's the best sport in the world!"
"Yeah, well, I'm a muggleborn. Muggles do not have flying broomsticks or balls chasing your head. We have basketball, football, snowboarding-"
"And the emotion?!"
"It's pretty emotional, I'm telling you. Once during a football match this ball hit me real hard and-"
"Merlin's pants, Teddy. You know nothing. Here, lemme teach a couple of things."

Greta was totally caught off guard when Ted started to tickle her. She let out a squeal and started laughing. Her automatic response was to curl up and try to protect her most ticklish spots, her sides and stomach. All previous unhappy thoughts forgotten, along with the fact that no one else was awake yet.
He kept on, slowly forgeting the previous topic and grinning like a child. He could do this forever, really. Tickling was one of his few favorite tricks and Greta wasn't the type of person who would make him stop right away, which just made it better.
But then he heard noises and stoped, still laughing. "Looks like we woke someone up? Hope they'll join us, not get mad at us! We're just chatting." He said, keeping a very innocent tone.

“It’s alright dear.” She said, getting up and joining him. She tickled one of the plants, making it dance faster. “It must be. And this one here seems ticklish.” She grinned, tickling it again. You could almost here it laughing through the way it was dancing around.
"Yeah. So does this one. Aaaand..." He said, getting closer to her. "This one, too!" Laughing, Ted started to tickle the girl next to him, glad she'd let his stupid topics behind. There were times he just felt like chating with his friends about silly things and essays, but there were times he wanted to speak everything he kept to him. Andromeda, for example. But this is not the moment, he thought as he kept tickling her, unaware of other students sleeping.

“No need to explain yourself, it was totally understandable! But it was also funny, you can’t deny.” He said, smiling, too. It was good to do that - Sit by the Basement, laugh about the happenings, forget essays and professors and everything. Just like when he went to muggle school and didn’t need to worry about purebloods and people being dicks because he was a badger.
“Hey, Greta… Don’t you love these little moments? Just sit by and laugh and let hateful people hate themselves while we’re having fun?” Lowering his voice to a whisper, he kept on. “Doing what we want when we want to. No worries.”
“True. What was funnier was watching all the elves run around in panic.” She said with a giggle. They all looked like chickens with their heads cut off. Greta watched as a few of the dancing plants started waking up and started wiggling around. She loved watching them in her free time. In her opinion, being a Hufflepuff was the best thing ever. With or without all of the badger hate.
She turned her gaze back to Ted as he began to speak again. “It is great.” She said with a smile, unsure why he was whispering. They were alone after all. “But there’s always some worries.” She said, thinking about just the other day, when she had been cornered by some Slytherin purebloods. She suppressed a small shudder at the thought.
"I know. Urgh. Sorry. Shoudn't talk about something like this in the middle of a Sunday morning." Getting up and going to the already waken dancing plants, he got back to his normal tone. "Let's go back to the good things. For example, this one here seems to be feeling very well to be dancing like this."

“Rita needs to find something better to do with her life. And as for the fire, it wasn’t that big a deal. It got put out right away and it was an accident! I was trying a new recipe and one of the pot holders got too close to the flames. Not my fault.” She said, getting all defensive, although she couldn’t help but smile. She still thought it was kind of funny.

“Well, that’s true, but it’s still a funny sight. I haven’t had much problem with my bush though. It mainly just wiggles around.” She explained. Greta smiled and got comfortable with Ted, snuggling up under the blanket. “Definitely. Rita’s been a little lacking in her gossip lately hasn’t she? A little strange that is. Not that I’m complaining. Oh, the house elves finally forgave me for setting fire in the kitchen the other day.” She still couldn’t believe that she had done that. It’s not her fault. And it’s not like she meant to do it. And they had gotten it taken care of quickly.
"I'm glad she did. Rita, I mean. That girl is just crazy, coming up with the most nonsense gossips in the world. Amos' still bad about the last one and she almost got me in trouble, too. Insane." Shaking his head, the boy looked over the windows, to the dandelions, the grass and everything. Insane, indeed.
"But. That fire you started was really a big deal." He laughed, looking back at her and trying not to think about Rita or anything related. "Still can't believe you did that. Greta setting fire in the kitchen? I wouldn't believe it if you haven't got so mad!"

“You know, I’d never thought of that before?” She said, picturing it. She couldn’t help but laugh. It was a funny thought. “Seems kind of funny to picture.” She smiled at Ted’s offer. “Let them sleep. I don’t mind sharing.”
"Well, in my own defense, this is a genuine worry." He replied, laughing as well. "Those plants with self conscience are really wicked, but they scare me sometimes. Merlin knows when they'll act." As he spoke, Ted went to her sofa and put the quilt over them. "Yep. Way better. Now we can get sleepy while we talk and cry over the fact we're far from our comfortable beds. Or we could have deep conversations. Or gossip about something. Whatever pleases you."

Greta smiled. It was obvious that he tried to hide it, but she could still tell she at caught him off guard. She couldn’t blame him though. It was obvious that no one else was up yet, and the ghosts had a tendency to come out of no where and scare the life out of people. It was like they were trying to make them into ghosts as well sometimes.
“Same. My Flutterby bush wouldn’t let me go back to sleep until it was taken care of, and by then I was too awake to fall asleep.” She explained with a sigh. The bush was cute, but it could get very needy at times.
"Like an enchanted bush? Aren't you afraid to wake up one day and find it huging you or something?" Glad she hadn't say anything about scaring him, Ted got himself comfortable around one of those patchwork quilts someone left behind. "Wanna share? Or I can go get mine and see if anyone's up yet. Although I'd prefer them sleeping. Kids being cray 'bout Quidditch, as usual."

Greta woke up that morning and wanted to do nothing more then go back to sleep. But the small plant she had beside her bed wanted to be fed, and once it saw she was awake, it would not leave her alone. So with a groan she got up out of bed and fed the bloody thing, then got ready for the day. All of her essays were done and there was nothing left to do but find something to entertain herself.
With a look around she realized everyone was still asleep. So she decided to head down to the common room. ‘God, why am I up so early?’ She asked herself with another groan. It was Sunday morning, which meant she had all the time in the world to sleep. But here she was, fully awake, stepping into the common room.
She noticed that even the plants were still asleep and rolled her eyes. Even the dancing plants were able to sleep. Why did she have the one plant that didn’t like to sleep in? Then she noticed Ted. “Hey Teddy, can’t sleep either?” She asked, sitting in one of the comfortable arm chairs with a small yawn. Okay, maybe she wasn’t quite fully awake yet.
Greta's voice quite surprised the boy, not to say it scared the hell out of him. "Greta! Hey!" He said, trying not to show how surprised he got. Merlin's pants, he was sure no one had waken yet. And even in his Seventh Year he wasn't used to ghosts nor could he forget zombies and worse things found in the wizard world.
"Woke up too soon, that is. And I couldn't sleep again. Already had breakfast and stuff." Slowly going back to his not-scared being, Ted sit next to her, glad it was just Greta after all. "You?"
Gwen Jones | Dancing Plants
"Ha, don't worry about owing me. I'm telling you, there's nothing better than dancing plants. Doesn't matter how you're feeling, they're always there for you."
Grinning, Ted put his essays apart and went looking for that special spot with butterbeers and the likes in their Common Room. It was one of his favorites, really. Quite like their own kitchen, with anything they needed.
"So. Butterbeer? Pumpkin juice? Pudding? Oh. We do have some pudding. Wonder who left it here."

Waking up early was never a real problem to Ted Tonks. There were days, of course, he wanted so badly to stay at bed till lunch time, skiping every class possible and avoiding Amos and anything Quidditch-training related. But today was not one of those days.
Which was kind ironic, since it was a Sunday morning and all his essays were done. Ok, maybe not all of them. He was quite sure there was something here or there to be done yet, but they were minor things - Nothing to worry by now.
The Hufflepuff had already had his breakfast (Something he loved since his very first day at Hogwarts) and people haven't woken up yet. Not to blame, really, the day was perfect for it - But he was starting to get bored. Even the dancing plants, those amazing dancing plants he could find in his common room anytime, were sleepy. Could he really be so bored to go training in the foggy outdoor?
_
Terribly bored.
I’m always up for a good game of Quidditch. Either or, I really don’t mind, just as long as I can get away from this homework, it’s driving me insane.
Just wait till Seventh Year. It's madness. Anyway, as far as I recall, we have some butterbeer left here. And I'm sure someone may have cake or something to go with. We could have it and watch that crazy dancing plants professor got us? There's this one that does some really good break dancing, I'm telling you.
Terribly bored.
Up for some Quidditch, Gwen, dear? Or just some butterbeers with the guys in the Common Room? I'm tired of studying, too.
