Revenge of the Nerds- I mean Up-And-Comers
Not to get too strict or overly-religious, but most percentages of folk in almost every industry (you name it) see us up-and-comers as Job and at the same time compare themselves like they're Jesus Christ in the flesh, knowing they're NOT, especially the locations of the heart. In other words, jealousy within us up-and-comers is still an issue for years, as we always expressed that some of these cats in the game wanna see us lose to the point where it's either self-negativity in the brain or we're just plotting to fight them when we see them, which is annoying because it'll ruin our own reputation.
I get tired of how it's still stuck to that point with a passion, maybe because of variously played out stereotypes about us that we face, though we know it ain't always 100% true because we're seperating our own worlds from the worlds of whoever we say we're fans of. (Be careful though.) So like I said about them wanting to see us wallow, it's also because they don't recognize that we appreciate smaller things where we come from. If those people don't wanna give me or the other artists that I know and love, and they love me back, a chance, that's fine. That's why our omnipresent spirit and maturity is just as powerful than their plots coming out of their mouths. We don't need casual interviews or magazines or anything else extra to simply speak for ourselves and our audiences. And to defend those with the same conditions like mine, death to the "touch grass" insults. We're in this mindstate that we can stop being the "Take my mixtape or go fys" types of up-and-comers and go for what we know because we have our own following supporters; our blood family members, our older friends from school, and the whole seven. I wanna see us win, no matter WTF it is. Shout out to Kuro, because even he knows it's not too late for us 'cause we're almost there.
As I get older, I plan to break free from the spirit of comparison and see the game as myself in a physical and spiritual form. Everybody else can get all annoyed when I say that everything is spiritual and have their opinions, IDGAF because nobody, and not even me, can run away from the truth.
OUT NOW
A favorite rapper of mine said this, "In the land of milk and honey, they done messed up the church's money." But let me put my twist to this however....
The internet's a fool, but... I never thought in my years of living that I would see the hidden truth behind 'the church's money' nowadays being mostly misused due to D1 crashouts, or maybe some attitudes deeper than that. This saw the lesson I would FINALLY accept many years later to turn from most of my greedy ways, and also not play the victim no more. Saying this a lot, I would've ate salt (in other words, be honest), and let it slide like a grown man then, but there were times I've went too far in 4K. So I've learned the hard way to forgive myself moving forward, knowing I could've handled my shenanigans in a better way possible.
Back to the subject: I annotated that line, [like I said] with my twist on it, because it's the tone of communication whenever the chips are down, or was it the fact that I'm taking a very deep look at this world, and how the chemicals of lacking honesty from the heart, especially in front of a whole congregation, come about.
Times are hard because of every slice of the devil's pie, which was what most Houses' (meaning churches) donations have turned into, thanks to the near-toxic attitude of a particular person I'm not gonna mention.
I'd still have respect for somebody with a phattest heart to tell me, if I were a preacher for example, that this person don't have that much amount to give after a few seeds, and I would tell that person in front of me or in the back that I'll forgive him/her. Because to me, there's always next time, and I don't mean that greedily.
Reaping what I sow is a hard skill as a spiritual being in real time, but it's been worth my while. I don't pick my alias name, and this side blog, Tonyversial for absolutely nothing. That name I pick is that special mirror that doesn't lie when it reflects back at me first, and then at the rest of Earth.
In conclusion, regardless of which house of the Lord you're from, never in your life, as a leader, crash out in front of your local congregation just because one person is honest about not having that much donation amount, even in front of 1080p and maybe less sharp effect cameras or opposite, and then play the victim. Be grown enough to forgive yourself and your own people with your heart as well. Usually, I'm some sort of a nerd mixed with a little thug in me while speaking my mind on everything including half my bloodline's belief, but I keep some of my excitement ten toes, as I am aware of where my conversation is going.
It's okay if you don't believe in anything period. Still take the rest of this game from me and other brains that are almost like mines. - ALJ*
JUDGMENT DAY 2030
I've touched on NDAs, mules, supremacy, pick-and-chooses between entertainment, egos, and spirituality, etc. Did this song just to cast down what I think are even more generational curses, with a pinch of my own cadence to it. I'm not overly religious, but it was worth my shot while I had written it. - ALJ
DONE AND DONE.
What the dilly, yo. Before I announce, I just wanna thank you all for your patience and support, it really means a ton to me.
Now this project that I've been working on has been tearing ya boy UP!! But writing my own raps and even recording them, feels like I can still finally kick most of my worries to the curb, because one of my peeps taught me that not everything has to be perfect. I took that advice by not giving a damn if incoming people think my music is wack or not, because with my talent, I got so far to go. I'm a proud anarchist through and through, so I'm forever an "F it" kinda dude. Major love and thanks to the following people that inspired this rollout of mine: 10 Wormz, Solace Bowden, Xitruc NiVri, and Leroy Curriculum. God bless these guys, because they all tell me that I can do it like never before too.
Concept side: The name Tonyversial stuck with me for a year, as in my views of the world today. Most of all, all the anger I've been holding inside. Chemical warfare, traffic jams, and boss battles. And during those things, I'm a protagonist preparing for what's to come, artist or not. I'm breaking out of too many things that are too much to list, especially toxicity and censorship. And alongside those two, the boss battles, for example, are conservatives, greed, political/religious correctness, dudes with no respect nor immunity at all, etc.
Although, Tonyversial, at this point, is possibly finished. I was usually gonna work on some songs that I have written for this mixtape, but every now and then, I know what it's like to be tired after every session, especially almost losing my voice from recording. It'll be about at least 19 or 20 tracks. Friendly reminder, the release date is set November 25th, 2025.
So far we have the following Tonyversial flips including "Punch It," and "Judgment Day 2030." This next one is a two-piece special, coming to you on the 29th of this September, entitled "Geaux Figure / Sick 'Em."
Stay tuned. - ALJ
Once again, shout out to @bearhaley. This one's just an early bird warmup for the summer/fall.
Out-the-way anthem on mines.
