Butters grinned at his tiny friend, just happy to see him so excited about something. He did feel slightly bad for letting the game collect dust for the month that he had it, but there was really nothing he could do, he was swamped and playing video games was out of the question. “ Sure I have some time tonight if you want to play together! ”

“ sounds good to me ! ” the atmosphere brightened considerably , his smile still plastered happily over his face . he gave the other boy a small nudge before heading in the direction of the store , maybe just a bit of a spring in his steps . “ well , c’mon . we have to get there before the line gets too long . yeah ? ”

headcanon that dougie always " retires ” as general disarray after a an evil scheme results an a huge failure . but he then he always ends up picking it back up again when/if butters asks with minimal convincing .

" oh , well that’s okay . ” dougie couldn’t say that some part of him wasn’t the tiniest bit disappointed that the other had yet to play the game . still , excitement didn’t waver as he flashed a grin —— butters did just agree to head down to gamestop with him . “ maybe we could play together if you have the time later ? ”
