Steve grinned and tried to pretend it wasn’t because he’d never been described like that before. Once Bucky’s head was nearer he took the opportunity to mess hell out of his precious hair. ”You woke me up! That’s an insult, I don’t know how you can live with yourself.”
"Quite easily, actually," Bucky drawled, absolutely refusing to show any outward response to the hand in his hair. He couldn't quite cover up the complete relaxation of his neck muscles, though.
"Stop fuckin' up my hair; I'll give you a noogie," his quiet, satisfied sigh belied his protest.

“Oh sure, play the victim. You’rethe big brute in this situation-“ Steve pushes back at that hand in an attempt to smush it into Bucky’s face.
"If anyone's bein' a brute, it's you --" Bucky ducks his head so as to avoid the indignity, but there really isn't anywhere to put his head, so he instead bumps his forehead against Steve's chest.
"Sorry t' break it to you."

”You’re tasteless— comin’ into my room in my house on my bed and assaultingme like this,” He quits trying to shove Bucky off and pats his face annoyingly instead, finishing with the squeezing of his cheeks.
"Oh, excuse me, mister high'n'mighty, but if you care to recall, you didn't move over."
Bucky grunts and crosses his eyes at Steve, leaning over to brace himself on the bed with an arm so that the other could bat at Steve's hands. "This's all your fault."
WELCOME BACK
“Oof!” It’s all very dramatic and he has to laugh, pushing at Bucky’s shoulder. “Geeze, what’ve you been eating lately?”
"Bricks. Like, ten pounds of 'em," the laugh is infectious, and he can't help but huff one out too. "They're pretty tasteless, though."
"Can I just—"
"No."
"A'right, if you say so --" hardly a moment passes and Bucky shrugs off his jacket and drapes himself dramatically across Steve. It was a careful balance between not squishing Steve and looking like he wasn't trying to not squish Steve.
”—-You woke me up.”
"Oops," the corners of his mouth pull upwards, "move over."
