As always, I hesitated to ask, but I’m also in no position to be too proud to accept help if anyone is willing to give it to me. Here’s the situation. Well first, if you don’t care to see this, feel free to scroll. There’s no need to send mean messages anonymously like before. I don’t need that right now. I’m always transparent about what’s happening.
Anyway. Y’all know I was laid off in March when my last company dropped our entire team out of nowhere one day. I’ve been able to stretch the severance pay and the little bit of unemployment I was able to get for the last 4 months (and trust me, that hasn’t been easy), but at this point, I’m in trouble.
I’ve been actively applying for jobs daily since before I even lost the last one. I’ve only just had a company to reach out to me, and I’m on round 3 of interviews with them (third one is today, actually, and I think there’s at least 4 ). I find it insane to have to do so many interviews for any job, but I am trying. I’m still applying for every job I come across. The American job market is so incredibly fucked.
A new problem has arrived, as well. The car that I would use to get back and forth to on-site jobs (should any of them respond) is now leaking both oil and some kind of coolant. I need to have an auto shop take a look, which of course costs money. I’m also barely going to be able to cover my regular bills the rest of the month or next. Hopefully, I’ll get this job and be in better shape, but even if I did, it wouldn’t begin until after Labor Day, I was told.
Frankly I need so much help, but I know that times are hard for SO many people. I really don’t want to lose my apartment or the car. If you could find it in your heart to spare anything for me, I’d be so grateful. I don’t really know what I need, but I’ll delete this post as soon as I’m a little more stable.
Even if you can’t spare anything, a reblog would be a huge help. Sorry to write this long ass novel, but I don’t know what else to do. Also, if you’re a Harry fic reader, I’m more than willing to write something for you personally in exchange, if you’d like. (There are certain tropes/topics I’m not comfortable writing, but I’d let you know.)
