I’m surprised they haven’t just flat out given me a detention, with how mad some of them have been.” A soft smile is offered in return, her grabbing her bag, because she’s definitely going to run a little. (Just in case this turns out to be a lie, or the teacher isn’t as forgiving to complete newbies.) “See you, Dustin.”

Dustin gave her a quizzical look, but didn’t pressure it on to her. Some teachers were shit here, especially the gym teacher. It wasn’t like Dustin didn’t like DODGEBALL or being close to his friends, it was the mere fact that the teacher mistakes the kids as new army recruits. His back still aches from the THREE mile run all the way back in sophomore year. Dustin mentally congratulated her that she didn’t have to go through that HELL. “ If you have Ms. Annabelle for LITERATURE, don’t look her exactly in the eye. She’s a hell of a beast, ” he calls out as the new girl takes down the narrow hallway. “ C’ya ... Rain. ” Dustin looks around and realizes just how awkward this situation was and how LATE he's going to be for financial aid.

Will hadn’t known the loss of Eleven, so it was hard for him to be sensitive towards this. It was a bit of a time consumer to get a few words out of Wheeler about her and it frustrated Dustin to no end, but he stayed by Mikey for SUPPORT. Snapping open the can, he heard Nancy’s voice crack out into the silence of the kitchen ( which scared him almost to death ). Head tilted to the side to acknowledge the older sister’s presence. How was he going to get out of THIS ? “ he just needs to ta’ adjust, ya know ? Not everyday a kid kicks a government official’s ass while discovering an alternate universe. ”
