Here's a commission painting I finished last night for a coworker and her granddaughters! This was 11×14 on a stretched canvas and we agreed on $35 (25 after the cost of the canvas). She said she wanted the moon and lanterns to be painted over with watered down metallics so they look to be shiny/glowing, though it's hard to tell with the lighting but it looks really cool in person and different lighting!

I'm thinking of opening commissions soon so let me know if any of you are interested!

((aaaAAHHH I DON’T HAVE EITHER BUT I’LL TELL YOU ABOUT THE GUY WHO ASKED ME TO PROM INSTEAD BECAUSE I FRIGGIN’ RAN AWAY.

OKAY SO, I GET INTO MY LEADERSHIP CLASS AND I Was a little anxious because of family problems at home and I notice that he and 2 other girls were gone so I looked to my teacher to see if we were busy and he was deAD STARING AT ME WITH A HUGE SMILE RIGHT? So I was like “wtf okay” and then he looks to the door and his smile gets bigger! So I instinctively looked to see what was up, and in comes the guy unraveling a poster as he walks in. I should mention, I didn’t wear my glasses that day because it was Spirit Week and the theme was Animation Domination, and Link Crew/Leadership dressed like Scooby Doo and I was Daphne. I also can’t see pink that well without my glasses for some reason, I don’t know why. Anyways, one of the girls is holding the other side, and the other is recording me. I was really confused because 1.) I can’t see, 2.) Everyone is looking at me, and 3.) This poster has my name on it and I can’t see anything else because it’s pink. I see a music staff though ((everyone knows that I sing and I sing sometimes if they ask, which is nice)) and it’s big, bold, and black. So now I was really confused. So here I am, standing in the back of class, squinting trying to read this poster with my name on it. It said “(My name) I would sing for joy if you went to prom with me”. When I was finally able to read all of it, I started having anxiety really bad because it took me 2 whole minutes to read this, and the whole class ((and some others from outside the class)) have been staring, waiting for my answer this whole time. So,,, I ran to my favorite teacher to hide for a bit, except she wasn’t there, she had a sub. ;-;

So now, I’m in this senior A.P. English class ((which I later discovered was a classroom of his friends, being as he is a senior and they are all his friends)), explaining to the sub why I’m there, which he makes me do in front of the class;;; they all then erupted when I answered the big question of who had asked me. I ran back outside and see a friGGIN’ SEARCH PARTY LOOKING FOR ME WITH THE SCHOOL SECURITY AND NEIGHBORING CLASSES!

I eventually calmed down enough to tell him yes... and now it’s a joke between the students and staff that I should be on the Cross-Country team with him and that I can run faster than Usain Bolt as long as he chased me with a Prom poster lmao))

Above is a link to Claude Jones’ GoFundMe for the attorney he needs to fight for his 2 little girls back. He’s almost reached his goal of $28k but still needs that extra little push. He’s been raising for 17 months or so now. Jones has been trying to get custody of his daughters and save them from their abusive mother. The video below shows how utterly terrified they are of their mother and proves that they should not be living with her. The younger one is seemingly forced into contact with her mother and is given a kiss which she doesn’t return, and the older of the two comes out crying and refuses to even get near her mother.
