I'm glad you love the episode Bubble Buddies. It holds a special place in my heart cause I remember being Conny's age crying about never making any friends. I eventually made friends, but I still remember that helplessness and it did feel like being stuck in a bubble under the ocean.

If you want to make the episode posts go in order, you should link to the tag instead of a search, and add "/chrono" at the end. Ex: "/tagged/bubble_buddies/chrono". You also might want to make it a separate page clickable from the main page.

If you want to reverse the order of posts in your links, so that the oldest is at the top and people can read them in order, just add "/chrono" to the end of the url. It's that easy.

"I love continuity" Oh boy you picked the right show to liveblog. Also by adding /chrono/ to the end of each link you can order correctly the tags you posted. I think others create a post with links and link to that post on their top bars next to "ask" and "submit", but I don't know how that works.

I'm a slut for continuity my friend, you have no idea. Also thanks for the advice: I got a bunch of really awesome people who've let me know how to do the chronological order correctly! I always figured the bubble stayed up due to Steven panicking about impressing Connie and becoming friends with her. Once they'd had that little moment and he was able to relax a bit, he was able to unconsciously drop his defenses and the bubble went down.

Honestly that makes a lot of sense. I mean he wants to impress her, but what both of them NEED at this point is just to be comfortable with each other

Verdict

I’m rushing the verdict today cause I’ve got dinner in the oven, but basically, this episode was excellent! 8/10! 

I have to put in my two cents about Garnet in this: she was so much more three dimensional in this episode! She didn’t say much, but her actions spoke volumes. She did not coddle Steven, but she didn’t make him act like an adult just to make things easier on herself and the other gems on this extremely dangerous mission.

She let him be his little Steven-y self, but she still made him feel confident and important! I love this dynamic, and I feel we got to know Garnet just a little bit more. I can’t wait to know more about her.

Can I say how sweet it is that these badass ladies, who probably have a shitload of world saving stuff to do, willingly went to an amusement park for their small son? Amusement Parks are exhausting on the best of occasions. With children? They’re a nightmare.

“You might want to put away that gun show.”

This is a really cool side of Garnet to see. She obviously cares about Steven (not that she hasn’t shown this before) but she’s like a cool dad/mom combo. She seemed a little stand offish at first, but I really enjoy here being so patient and nurturing with Steven. She didn’t even rebuke him for unleashing the hell room, she was just like, “Are you safe? Yes? Let’s move on.” This is Steven’s first serious mission, so he needs someone who is paitent and most importantly, CALM. She’s not frealing out, so Steven won’t. I just love it.

“Beware triangles.” There are going to be floor spikes aren’t there?

Close enough. And once again, HGN!!!!!! THIS WOMAN!! THOSE THIGHS!! THOSE FISTS!!!! WRECK! ME! PLEASE!!!
