AMC AMX/2
The AMC AMX/2 was a concept car built in 1969.
The car was designed by in-house stylists Bob Nixon and Fred Hudson.
The non-working AMX/2 show car featured a "twin" theme, including dual movable spoilers, and was intended to have a mid-mounted engine.
It was unveiled to the public at the 1969 Chicago Auto Show.

AMC AMX/3
Designed in the U.S., built in Italy, and refined in Germany by some of the biggest names in the automotive industry, the AMX/3 was one of the most fascinating mid-engine sports cars of its time. Unfortunately it failed to make it into production. Located mid-ship was a 390 cubic-inch AMC V8 capable of producing 340 horsepower - AMC AMX/3.
