@pseudomonacarriea / Tristan
Your Majesty.
A sorrowful drone, one that she’s known all too well. There were few knights who treated her well that she can still fondly recall, but Tristan before he had left--The Knight of Lament had always treated her with kindness and dignity befitting of his standing, despite her own. Halting midstep as she’s certain the man is bowing, she cannot quite bring herself to keep walking away.
“...Sir Tristan.”
Guinevere speaks softly, finally turning her head very slightly so that she can firmly keep the man in her peripheral vision. How did he know? Her walk, the air about her? She had done her utmost to keep her identity hidden to all, both Master and Heroic Spirits alike.

Big thing on the rendition I follow is that it wasn’t the adultery that was the main issue of how it came to be that she was to be put on trial, though it certainly fueled the flames: It was the accusation of murder that really did Guinevere in. She was absolutely innocent, but many knights called for her to be burned due to the evidence that had been planted and stacked against her. I’ll post the page later, but the woman was mortified when a body dropped and fingers were immediately pointed at her for it, then dropped her thing with Lancelot into the equation to further back it up. Like. She flat out got accused of attempting to murder Arthur to put Lancelot on the throne??? She was??? Horrified???
#This is fine.png, a face that Guinevere often adopted in ye olde days
@cantillat liked for a starter / Arthur
“Sir Tristan? Really, you’ve come up earlier than--”
Having opened the door, expecting one of the few knights that she willingly associated with and spoke to on occasion given their similar backgrounds and sense of suffering--Guinevere hadn’t expected who it was who’d actually knocked.
“....!”
At that point, it was too late to dissolve herself through use of Presence Concealment, but it isn’t exactly stopping the former queen from trying to at least slip into Spirit Form to get out of this situation.
I think a lot about the fact that no one really (read: literally no one) defended Guinevere in the face of all those accusations, and the reality of her situation just completely and wholly sank in yet again of just how little power she really possessed in that point in time. She got to see how quickly people flipped on her in the face of being framed, any and all good that she had ever done completely forgotten.

Specify muse(s) if you are a multimuse, as well as if you would like more than one starter!

He is not merely the court jester, but the entire circus in itself.
Girl genuinely has a soft spot for Percival given the story revolving around him honestly, I’ll put some tidbits from the rendition of the Tale of King Arthur that I have up--I tend to go by this one, obscure as it is, given it carries quite a few details and the medieval style illustrations that it has are beautiful.
I need to write out a few lines still, but honestly the girl doesn’t have many nice things to say about the vast majority of the knights sans for Bedivere, Gareth, Galahad, Percival, Tristan, and Lancelot

Her life is so much easier dealing with the others most of the time when she’s her Counter Guardian self honestly
