Been a while since anyone's been talking about tfo politics but I have a genuen question

How the fuck is tfo Megatron a leftist??? Ignoring any other Megatrons (who are still not leftists because they all believe in power structures, except sg), just looking at TFO alone, as he IS very different at the start.

He is barely a freedom fighter. "Worker rights? Yeah! They have the right to work!" - him, probably.

He is (to me) more of a liberal (which is right wing;). Given that he is a bootlicker trough and trough and believes in thriving in an environment where he start at the bottom and has to work a hard, thankless job. Plus he NEVER wants to help miners, even when he gets a cog and ESPECIALLY when he kills Sentinel. He isn't against the system, he JUST hates that HE cannot thrive. And once he can? Others STILL don't matter and they can continue living in he same system, just as long as they accept him as their new ruler. Otherwise they don't get to live.

Aven the "burn it all down" is less "burn down the system" and more "burn LITERAL BUILDINGS down cuz Im having an adrenaline and power rush"

I think it's because of IDW and Prime projection on One: two universe were the Funcionist system used the Prime legacy as propaganda to the point major part of the Cybertronians didn't believe in Primus's existence. And its figure was an excuse to oppress them.

This is what I understand, even if I didn't read at all the Transformers IDW comics and see so less about Transformers Prime.

I know something from the Wiki and debate about this argument here on Tumblr, Instagram and YouTube. Hope to get clear my thoughts when I see more of Transformers on my own.

I have to agree, it's probably this belief that ALL Megatrons and other tf characters ALWAYS have the same characterisation and beliefs.

It's not only tfo. They put thw whole "freedom fighter from low class" narrative in both g1 and tfa.

In g1 we have multiple epsides where it's shown that AUTOBOTS were the ones enslaved by Quintessons (AND ALPHA TRION WAS THE FREEDOM FIGHTER! I HATE THE ARISTOCRAT ALPHA TRION BRING BACK GAY PORM MUSTACHE DOCTOR TRION!) Meanwhile Decepticons we're the soldiers and disliked the new regime (in which everyone was equal and free)

In tfa it's never said in the show, but Allspark almanac (i think) it's said that Megatron comes from an aristocratic family and that he overthrew the previous leader of the decepticons (who was on good terms with autobots) JUST so he can start the war.

The only thing all Megatrons ACTUALY have in common (except, again, SG) is... They're tyrants.

i am losing my mind over discovering that there's a species of jumping spider (Pellenes nigrociliatus) that builds nests in empty snail shells and makes little silk webbing curtains to close off the entrance

They're not just nesting in empty snail shells (or alternatively, rolled-up leaves) but will also haul them up into vegetation to protect their eggs from the temperature extremes prevalent on ground level.

I read that they suspend the shells to keep them safe from ants, but that also makes sense! They use the shells not just for their eggs, but as shelter when molting and overwintering! Up to 6 jumping spiders have been observed overwintering in a single shell together, which is unusual since they're not normally social animals.

I just learned recently about a mason bee that also uses snail shells (just for eggs but still), I had no idea so many animals were taking advantage of abandoned snail shells! Really really cool
