ok hear me out, what if they were the same colour? i like to think that blue eyes among irkens is actually pretty rare so they refer to spork and miyuki’s rise to tallest as ‘rise of the blue ones’ or something equally badly named

i imagine that their first initial meeting paves the way for a competitive sort of relationship then eventually they wind up as friends and each others confidant :3
