David Hockney has passed away. To me, his work always felt less like fine art and more like graphic design and illustration — bold, beautiful fields of color that were truly one of a kind. R.I.P. 🎨

I was actually hospitalized during the long holiday break. I had a bad fall near my home and ended up having to call an ambulance because the pain was so intense I couldn’t move. Thankfully, nothing was broken, but the whole situation was pretty shocking and honestly left me feeling a bit miserable too. I was able to leave the hospital after about 10 days, and the experience really made me appreciate the importance of good health all over again. Feeling grateful.
実は大型連休中、入院してました。自宅近くで転倒してしまい、痛みで動けないため救急車を呼ぶことになった。骨折は免れたものの、突然の顛末にショックと情けない気持ちが混じり合うことに。骨折もなく10日ほどで退院できたけど、改めて健康でいることの有り難みを感じました。感謝だね。 https://www.instagram.com/toru_fukuda/p/DXmMw-9Ei_s/
