Seeing biblical teachings being reversed into conservative teachings is one of the funniest things holy shit. Like this makes it painfully clear that Jesus taught the exact opposite of all these things yet conservatives in the US wanna call themselves “men of god”.
Din: *Sigh*
You: seeing six crows is bad luck and an omen of death
Me, an intellectual: seeing six crows is great luck because you get to see six crows
The gang now have two mysterious and powerful black rods, but their adventures on the Isle of Dread have come to a sudden stop as they find themselves plopped into a vast expanse of water, far from any signs of life or land!
This made me laugh far more than it should have.
The Danger Dice Gang is back for Season 3 in the classic D&D Expert Set module, The Isle of Dread!
We’re kicking off our third season with a brand new adventure for our cast of ragtag adventurers: Keth, the monster-smiting plate mail-loving paladin; Arlen, the flame-throwing sorcerer with a wild magic flourish; Oleg, the swashbuckling botanist with a devilish charm; and Tuggra, the bloodthirsty pocket fighter, and her slightly smarter wolf companion Jet.
Pack your bags and take your seasickness tablets. We’re heading to the Isle of Dread!

It’s Season 3 of The Danger Dice Gang! I’ve been having way too much fun aping the old D&D box set covers.
Adorable baby girl being chased by daddy, finally takes a stand.
i think the worst idea that this site has popularized vis a vis mental health is that its okay to treat your friends like therapists, and that its expected they react like one when you have an episode or breakdown
its a lot like approaching a friend and going “hey, you bandaged my cooking burn once, can you give me open heart surgery?” and getting upset when either they refuse to do so or getting hurt when they dont have the knowledge needed to do it safely.
people can support you, and they can help you out of rough patches, but relying on them for your continued functionality and stability is stressful and dangerous for everyone involved.
Two books! TWO BOOKS. I have two books coming out this month, and I’m so excited. They’re both about exploration, and they’re both for middle grade readers:
-Solar System: Our Place in Space is my first graphic novel. it’s about the solar system and features cute animals and science. The art is by the brilliant Jon Chad.
-The Atlas Obscura Explorer’s Guide for the World’s Most Adventurous Kid is an Amazon Best Book of the Month, hooray! I co-wrote it with Dylan Thuras and the art is by Joy Ang. Both of them are geniuses.
If you have a kid in your life who’s bursting with curiosity, perhaps give these books a try?

Oh, Canada.
Hey, guys. I know many of you follow me for my art and I don’t make too many personal posts, but I wanted to touch base about something very serious and personal that has been going on in my life.
My family was hit hard in January of this year by the unfortunate diagnosis that our father, Anthony Ritter, has stage 4 of a rare and aggressive cancer known as leiomyosarcoma.
My younger sisters and I have been fighting alongside him during this time entirely on our own. This has become increasingly difficult to sustain financially. We have created a GoFundMe in the hopes of providing some relief and security for our father who has so selflessly provided for us our whole lives. Any donations, big or small, are so greatly appreciated.
Please click this link for more information or to donate, and please help us get the word out by sharing this post. Thanks, best wishes, and good health.
signal boost ! ALL THE SUPPORT FOR KAIT AND HER FAMILY. Every little bit helps .
