TADC EPISODE 9 OPINION

I’m ngl I didn’t really like the last episode…it felt very half thought about and the focus was mainly on Jax for half of the episode which is fair bc he (she) is an important character in the show! But I wish Jax didn’t take up half of the episode BUT I am SO happy we got to see my queen ribbit bro 🥹 ever since I saw Ribbit’s design i KNEW she was gonna be my fav character and I was right!!! I absolutely FUCKING LOVE RIBBIT!!!>_< but overall the episode was lwk just mid and it just didn’t feel satisfying to me tbh…but it’s probably bc i hate Jax or some shit like that.

ADDED ON SEGMENT

This does NOT mean that I hate the show or that I like tadc any less! I just wish we got a better ending instead of Jax abstracting and then taking up half of the episode. I don’t truly hate Jax I hate how much I relate to her in a few aspects that I’m not getting into but I just wish we got a better ending (not saying this one was bad!) but I feel like there’s more to tell about ragatha, kinger, Pomni, zooble and gangle. I feel like we know Jax’s story and we only know the surface level of everyone else’s story and I wish we had more knowledge in everyone else’s life outside of the circus. Not saying that the last episode ruined it for me. Not saying I hate Jax. I just wish we learned more about everyone else. (I still love tadc with everything in me and it is truly an amazing show and it really lives up to its name) I would I appreciate no harassment for my opinion or anyone else’s opinion and I think everyone’s opinion on the ending is valid. If you don’t like the ending? Ok! If you do? That’s great! But please, let’s just respect one another’s opinions since we are all in the same fandom please.

She 100% referred to Zooble exclusively as she/her the first few weeks of them being there, and once she learned they were nonbinary from everyone else, she apologized relentlessly for three solid days.

TADC OC LORE

Circus Name: genti (pronounced as jenti)

Human name: Janet smith

Age: 20

Job: graphic designer

Reason for design: she’s insecure about being a mess or being “too much”

Relationships: soooo I lwk feel like she would lwk fw kaufmo but not in a romantic way? But I feel like she would get along with him and ribbit rather well, before Jax entered the circus ovc

Time of abstraction: right before Jax entered the circus

Bonds?: genti saw kinger as a father figure and ragatha as a close friend! She never met Jax or Pomni tho if the met zooble they would most likely get along but I’m not sure?)

Cause of abstraction?: Genti got into a fight with kaufmo due to him making a rather personal joke after genti opened up to him. Which caused her to isolated herself for weeks on end and once Jax entered the circus, ribbit was going to introduce Jax to her only to find that genti had abstracted. She also felt like there was no one she could trust in the circus after what kaufmo did and it drove her isolate herself.

Life before the circus: At the ripe age of 15 her parents split up and her mother didn’t want to take responsibility of her so she had to live with her father who didn’t take the divorce lightly. He constantly blamed her for it and was a heavy drinker and was quite violent when drunk. When she turned 16 she started working since her father had given up on life and had quit his job the previous year. She barely got by in high school and lived with her girlfriend for a while until she graduated and had enough money to move into an apartment so she could keep working to pay her collage intuition so she could go to school for graphic design. Her girlfriend Elizabeth stayed by her side and supported her the whole time and never stopped supporting her and even went to the same collage as her so they would still be together.
