okay so according to tumblr, this is what I picked up:
“Small artist” with amazing artstyle: you are an artist who’s recongnized by just about everyone, you’re using the term “small artist” lightly and you get 30+ likes every post you make. You also get free passes like being able to post straight up 34 in a minor infested fandom with no warning or anything, and nobody bats an eye.
Popular artist with an amazing artstyle: you’re at the top of the food chain, you get all the followers, all the likes, everything. 70+ likes every post, you even get 10+ comments which people barely leave so you KNOW your shit is good, you have the same passes as the so called “small artists” with amazing artstyles. Only difference is that you get asked to put warnings and stuff.
Small artist with bad artstyle: yeah, your shit sucks, you have less passes like the last two, but you get a decent about of attention (15+ likes each post). Not much about this one, but it’s better than nothing!
Popular artist with bad artstyle: just about all of you guys are problematic and only 5% arent and are genuienly as sweet as sugar unlike the other 95%. You abused all your passes and paid the price. Either improving or you actually suck. Oh yeah, and not as much likes but it’s above 20.
Popular artist with decent artstyle: 2nd best, right below the popular artists with amazing artstyles. Not all the passes, but you have SOME. 30+ likes, but only 2-3 comments each post.
Small artist with decent artstyle: the WORST position to be in. Like seriously, it’s just god awful. You get NOTHING. You get below 10 likes (if you’re lucky you get 50+ but that’s a once in a lifetime experience), if you spent most of your time in a small/dead fandom, you are NOT getting popular, anytime soon. The only reposts you have are you reposting your shit to other communities who dont gaf about you. you are INVISIBLE to everyone. Nobody wants to be in this position. Such a shame I AM. I’ve been in here ever since I joined tumblr. I never had a chance. It’s unfair how you idiots get a chance and I got NONE. Nobody cares about people this position. You have a better chance restarting than continuing cause trust me it’s not getting better. Also, you have NO passes. If you post one thing other artists can freely do, Youre fucked, kiss your account goodbye.
beginner artist: you’re a beginner, nothing too crazy. Very little passes, but you get 10+ likes each post! Plus, at least you get support unlike SOMEONE.
