I finally ordered some items from @stimtastic! I honestly cannot believe how amazing spinner rings are. I think they're a new obsession of mine. And he watermelon stim toy bag is so cute! It just looks like a cute pencil case or make up bag, so it's not too jarring when I pull it out in public. And I really like that aspect. (Not that I'm a shameful stimmer, but I do like to be discreet in area's with my family). It also fits a butt load of toys in it. Such an amazing purchase. Definitely saving up for more rings in the future ❤️

hi!! love ur blog, i have a tangle related question, if u don't mind!! i bought a knockoff tangle from amazon bc my parents are... less than happy with me buying stim toys so i only keep a small collection of 4 or 5. anyway, this tangle has rather loose connection pieces and sometimes makes a squeaky sound when i move it. should i use clear nail polish? and if so, how would i go about applying it/how should i let it dry? sorry if i'm being a bother, and thanks so much!!

In regards to the squeaking your tangle makes - I don’t think Clear Nail Polish would do much to help unfortunately. I have a very old tangle with lose pegs, that I frequently have to polish up to keep it stiff - but the polish has never solved the squeaking problem.

The only thing I could suggest would be boiling the tangle. I have only done this once, but the tangle I did it to didn’t suffer from a squeak.

Can you make a list of all the rarest tangles you've seen or heard of? It's become a bit of a special interest of mine and I wanna see how my list (in my brain) compares to you! (Followers should do this too!!)

I don’t really have the energy to make a full list now. So instead, I’m going to post the one rarest tangle I never see people post about in the stimming community.

And that is, the Tangle Protien!

It looks super fun! It’s a large set of a bunch of green/red/blue and white tangle pieces, and the aim is to make protien/DNA strands using them. They have holes in, so that you can use the small plastic sticks to connect them together. It adds a whole new layer to tangles. Almost like lego - you can build them.

Unfortunately, I can only find these online that ship to America. And even then, they’re really expensive :(

A runner up after this would be the Tangle Penz. I’d love to own one (other than tangles, I collect stationary, so it’s two loves of mine as one). But they’re incredibly hard to find :o

I had one tangle and then it broke when accidentally stepped on it after having it for only a few days, my second tangle mysteriously disappeared after I had it for a bit more than a week. This is my third tangle, I've had it for 4 days, hopefully nothing goes wrong!

I love making my stims match my outfits. If only I had red nails at the time. I was at Costco, quite a sensory overload-ish place. But it was a lot of fun. Also these shoes 👌 Taken a couple months back. Wish my nails were still this long and photogenic 😱

Update.

Hi guys. Long time no post. Sorry I've been so inactive lately - I've had a lot of minor troubles that have decreased my online activity. Med changes. Bank/money issues. A lot of overtime at work. And many other boring things I won't go into detail about. I'm going to get to answering all my asks, and posting my submissions now my spoons are slowly recharging. Thank you for sticking around and being patient. More tangle n' fidget fun to come. I have a lot of toys I need to show off that I haven't had chance to post about yet! Stay tuned.

Hey I got the hairy tangle the other day and it's already loose and falling apart when I play with it any tips?

Try using clear nail polish on the connector pieces. This should give it some more longevity/stiffness 😊

im really upset because all my tangles keep breaking the little piece that connects the pieces keeps breaking off and i dont know what to do and all three of my tangles have been broken this way and im trying to not freak out over it but its really bothering me that i cant stim now and ims o upset

I'm really sorry that this keeps happening to you. I honestly can't really even suggest why it could be happening to you either because I have only broken a couple super old tangles in my life. If I knew more info about the tangles you've got is maybe be able to suggest why, but I don't think that would make you feel any better 😪All I can say is that there are many stimmy things you can enjoy other than tangles. So you're not stimmless without them. Stay happy Anon, we're here for you ❤️

Excited! I'm going to break the rules a little with my 'critter' because it's an arachnid. But my favourite type of critter or living creature in general is every and all spiders! I know they can be considered scary to some, but I've always loved them since I was a child. I think they're fascinating and cute all at once. They help clean out your home of nasty bugs, can be perfect low maintenance pets, there are millions of different kinds, and they don't get fur all over the house 😅 (I've tagged this so hopefully I don't scare any of the spider opposed 😪)
