I was having fun drawing yesterday and thought ”how about I try imagining how the Ikepri mothers would look like” 😊
They’re just little sketches and not a final product of what I imagine them to be like.
I tried recreating some sort of Middle Ages fashion for some dresses, but overall I mostly focused on making them blend in with the Ikeprince universe. Since the princes themselves have a lot of freedom in their designs, I had fun making them without Historical limits.
I hope it’s easy to tell them apart! They’re placed in the ‘right’ order, based on the princes’ births, if that makes sense. I based their appearance on what I knew, and what was said online for those I wasn’t familiar with. Of course my anatomy isn’t great but it’s a good start.
First there’s Jin’s Mother, Coralie Grandet. As the previous Belle, and as the first woman the King fell in love with so hard he completely destroyed everyone's life after her death, I tried to give her a radiant and innocent appearance to make sure the stab hurts enough to go berserk once she's gone. She's the start of everyone's downfall without knowing it 😌
Then there's Queen Michel. I tried to give her a noble and beautiful appearance, with some sadness lingering in her gaze. And while I don't remember the description of one of her dresses Emma found later, I knew it was orange and decided to represent it.
Lady Leticia follows, with pretty wavy hair, as well as a kind and playful aura. I made up a maid's outfit for her and Luke's mom, but it's possible that as she was the Queen's personal maid, she wore different clothing.
After that comes the 'genuine' Leon's mother, Mrs. Dompteur. I think she looks seductive here although it wasn't really my intent, but I wanted to make her seem smart and calculating somehow, and with a classy appearance. I didn't draw Leon's actual mother because I feel like she's less relevant.
I made Yves’ mother look like a ‘doll’ because given her son’s appearance, I would expect her to be similar to this. And I gave her the earring! Although I’m not sure if she wore two earrings or just one back then (didn’t read Yves’ route yet). I also gave her Yves' brooch for some reason. As an Obsidian noble, I would assume she never got to fit in and was the target of many enemies, so hence the sad face.
THEN, I’m especially happy with Anita (the twins’ mother) and decided to give her wavy hair since Licht and Nokto have hairstyles that I headcanon can’t really happen without either some styling or a tiny curl pattern. But I’ll admit I mostly did it because I wanted her to have that hair haha. Really in love with her locks. Since she was described as a rare beauty, I went all in.
And finally, Luke's mother. I gave her the same maid outfit as Leticia, without knowing if they actually wore similar clothes. But I made sure she looked as closely as possible as Coralie the previous Belle, with some similarities to Luke. I made her with a gaze similar to Luke's, but I'm not sure if she was happy at that time, or if it was after the tragedy happened...
Anyway that's it! I'm pretty happy with how they turned out, but I might make some changes at some point. Don't hesitate to let me know if you have ideas or things I didn't know about their appearance.
ok i get that part of the Pope’s role is visiting various holy places and it is important for vatican media to document these visits and keep the faithful informed of what he is doing but i can’t with some of these pictures 😭
Things that Jude does canonically/often repeatedly throughout events or routes that make my heart go *high pitched screeching*
Jude likes MC's bedhair/fixes it (even tells her not to show it to others in his "A day with Jude" event)
Jude gazes at MC longingly/lovingly when she's not looking
Him being silent when he is enjoying MC's company/silently being affectionate towards her (when he's holding her hand or gazing at her). He likes bullying and teasing MC but there are so many instances where he just quietly loves MC AND IT'S SO SWEET (thinking when he listens to MC singing happy birthday to him in his BDAY story sale too)
He likes being kissed on the forehead (ABSOLUTE SCREAMING!! MY HEART!!!) For this one I'm 100% sure he sees it as THE gesture of love, especially knowing his reaction in his event versus Nica (when MC kisses him on the forehead) and when he does it to MC in the Ghost Report event
Jude admitting -though only to himself - that if anything were to happen to MC (especially her dying) he would be affected DESPITE not being in love with her at this stage. This one is especially dear to me T_T there are so many moments (First-class ticket event, Bond story Love Tactics, Final assessment event) where he's repulsed at the idea of MC dying (his quote "Can't have ya dyin' on my watch. Wouldn't be able t'sleep.")
How he treats kids. This one is obvious since Jude is repeatedly shown as gentle with kids but the FUNNIEST thing I've noticed is when he uses his ability, because he only needs to touch someone's forehead to put them to sleep and throughout events and characters routes, he gently taps on children's forehead but smacks the ever loving shit out of people he hates when he uses his power and that had me wheezing so hard
