I spent four and a half hours on the sketch for this drawing. FOUR. AND. A. HALF. HOURS. JUST ON THE SKETCH. ANATOMY SUCKS SO HARD. I SPENT FOUR AND A HALF HOURS ON THIS SHIT AND ITS STILL SOMEHOW WRONG. I HATE ARMS. I HATE LEGS. I HATE HANDS. IM SO TIRED OF DRAWING. ONLY HEADSHOTS FROM NOW ON. GAH.

Anyway, I also did a few different versions of this drawing because I didn’t really know which one I liked the most :) I’m really bad at backgrounds, so I did a plain brown one and a pastel rainbow swirl one. I also did versions with my typical cell shading and a new style I’ve been wanting to try with soft shading!

A bit about the character and the story behind this drawing:

Basically, I accidentally used my super autism power at the wrong time and got hyperfixated on femboys. Yeah. After that, I just kind of put a bunch of things I’ve been wanting to do for a while and made this! He’s a sheep, and I would have put a little sheep tail, but they’re so small that the viewer wouldn’t be able to see it from this angle. I also really wanted to put some kind of hoofed shoes on him, but I’m so done with this drawing that if I open procreate again I’m going to snap my tablet in half lol.

I have also been wanting to try my hand at drawing curly hair, and I think it turned out okay!! I’m trying to make my characters more diverse (cringe alert, but most of my ocs are self insert characters so they are predominantly white because of that), so I wanted to make a darker-skinned character to practice being less self-centered with my art :)

Edit: I have decided to name him Amani :) I thought that name was very pretty, and the Swahili/Arabic origins and meanings (peace and wishes respectively) felt fitting.

Also, LET ME KNOW WHICH VERSION YOU LIKE BEST!!! I want to post the best version separately and make that the official version so I’ll do a poll or something at the top

I redesigned one of my characters from a while ago, and this is the result! I made him to be used as a character to explore my experience as an aroace person and my desire to be romantically and sexually “normal” for lack of a better word.

He wasn’t made to be gooner material. He’s a vent character used for self expression. I want to make that absolutely clear just in case the internet does what it tends to do.

Edit: I am a minor, so I will not draw him being NSFW. Yes, he’s a “sexy” character drawn with skimpy clothes, but he’s like that for a reason. My intentions with this character are not pornographic. That’s quite literally the point of this character: to NOT be sexually explicit. If you’re here expecting porn, in the nicest way possible, go find it elsewhere and do not come back to my blog.

Anyway, I think I’ve improved artistically since the last time I drew him :) I didn’t know what to do for the background, so I hope it looks okay!!! Please please please lmk what you think :D

Having autism sucks. Not because of overstimulation or being bullied, no. It’s because of the super niche special interests.

I watched a horror movie with my cousins that’s only available on Tubi and pirated on YouTube (that’s how you know it’s absolute gold) called Black Rat, and it has taken over my life. “Oh but Rad, what’s the problem with that? It’s just a movie,” I hear you saying. The problem is that I AM THE FANDOM. ITS JUST ME. I am trapped in an endless echo chamber of Hell filled with my own poorly written fanfiction and headcanons, fruitlessly hoping anyone will join me here and save me from this torture pit. There are barely even DVDs of it. There are two pictures from it on Google. There are FIVE reviews on IMDB and all of them are negative. This movie is my everything and there’s no one who cares even a fraction of the amount I do.

In a way, it’s kind of nice not having to deal with mischaracterization from people who don’t understand dynamic characters, but also PLEASE SOMEONE TALK TO ME ABOUT THIS MOVIE.
