Just a (massively overdo) update at all the animals I have. ;u; I know some of you seen them grow up from babies, so I thought I'd keep you updated. 

Current animal count:  4 goats (Tea. Hickory Dickory and Dock) 1 more goat (On hold until September. Not *technically* mine yet) 5 adult hens 5 pullet hens (Nearing point of lay. One just laid her first egg two days ago)  5 3 month old pullets (White Leghorns) 3 2.5 month old pullets (Aruacanas) 16 chicks (Mixed breeds. One Austraorpington, one frizzle, two silky mixes, Three Easter eggers and ??? for the rest!)  1 Duck Drake (Need to trade for a new one) 2 Duck hens 5 Female rabbits (One Lionhead mix, on Haliquin Rex, one harliquin flat, a New zealand white, and a Blue otter (not shown))  1 Male rabbit (English spot. Need to trade for a better one.)  3 Dogs

Well that's kind of you! How long have you known her? Since childhood? [she half giggled, idly fiddling with her book as they walked. She wasn't sure WHAT to say, so saying it all seemed to be the best policy.. right?]

Mutual. Both parties had to feel the same for each other. But all those years ago, he was certain that she’d felt the same. That’s why he’d confessed in the first place. What went wrong? Did he do something wrong? What was he doing wrong—-

No. I’m not going to risk it. Not again.

His mood is now soured greatly after having been preached to about love. “Thanks for nothin’.” He snarls as he moves past her and walks away.

She stays looking, not turning after him. "Kael, have you ever come to think.. That by hating love as much as you do.. By turning away from your feelings... Perhaps you have done to some unlucky soul what she had done to yours? Turning them away and spurning them before they could even get the words out." She drew in a slow breath, admiring the sky for a second. 

"Just a thought.. I wonder who is out there who is nursing wounds from your blow... Who pines for you unbeknownst.." She shook her head. "But you do not believe in love, so it does not matter whose heart you break in doing so.... Even if it is your own." She mused out loud, half certain he had long since gone by now. He was an odd mer, indeed.. Burying his hurt feelings in sex and lust. Relationships which, by nature, gave him the ability to spurn them before he could be spurned. 

How many hearts have you broken, Kael?

His face reddens a bit out of anger and he narrows he eyes at her. “I’ve known it. And you know what? It’s fucking awful. It never lasts.”

"If you'd known true love, it would have lasted. False love and lust are not true love. You can be in lust with someone and, while it may feel much like the tune of love, it is not. True love is mutual." She stays rather calm, watching him with a muted demeanor. The poor fool, she wondered if any of his relationships were deeper than he could thrust.

"And what if I have?" He snaps, a bit offended.

"Then you would know the meaning of the words I speak, and understand that a connection with a person can go further than your penis can reach." She looked up at him, mouth pulling to the side lightly as she did. "It is nothing to be ashamed of, Kael. Some people have not known love. Perfection takes time, it will come."

"Then you have never felt love." She states bluntly, frowning with a slight roll of her eyes.

"The point being that when you love someone there is no 'what next?' after sex.. Just the other person held tight in your arms and peace... The way their heart beats, how softly they breath.. Reveling in you and them. What next doesn't cross your mind because you're happy right now."
