And one fine day in the mountains I took this bike, and traveled along desolate roads, I was cold, I was sleepy, I was afraid, I had courage, I had strength, I had perseverance and I traveled kilometers in this way.

A dreaded sunny day
So I meet you at the cemetery gates
Keats and Yeats are on your side
A dreaded sunny day
So I meet you at the cemetery gates
Keats and Yeats are on your side
While Wilde is on mine
Ramón Falcón, the Iron Fist of the Oligarchy
On the morning of November 14, 1909, Colonel Ramón Falcón, then Chief of Police of Buenos Aires, was traveling in his car with his secretary, Alberto Lartigau, after bidding farewell to the remains of his friend, former prison director Antonio Ballvé, at the Recoleta Cemetery. As the car headed south, a young anarchist named Simón Radowitzky ran toward the vehicle and threw the bomb that killed the colonel, his secretary, and the coachman. Falcón never made it to the hospital.
Simón Radowitzky, a Russian immigrant, was arrested and spared the death penalty because he was a minor. He was later transferred to the Ushuaia prison and, after an escape attempt, was arrested in Chile. In 1930, with Yrigoyen's pardon, he was expelled to Uruguay, and in 1936, he joined the ranks of the Republicans in the Spanish Civil War.
