#GIVINGTUESDAY #GIVELOCAL #SUPPORTARTS Support local community outreach art organizations and work they do. www.touchstonefoundationdc.org Touchstone Foundation for the Arts (TFA) is a nonprofit tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization created by the artists of Touchstone Gallery in order to increase their engagement with the community around them. ART EXHIBITIONS Once a year TFA supports an exhibit by another nonprofit organization that features an art program. This year's exhibit featured art from Miriam's Kitchen, which offers multiple services to homeless individuals. ARTIST FELLOWSHIP TFA Emerging Artist Fellowship is open to Washington area artists and is designed to help emerging artists to develop professionally through a two-year membership in the Touchstone Gallery, mentoring by established artists, participation in gallery group shows, and a culminating solo show at the end of the two year fellowship. COMMUNITY OUTREACH The Touchstone@ArtSpace project partners the Touchstone Foundation for the Arts with New Community ArtSpace, a vibrant program affiliated with the New Community Church.
