No more Christmas music. From now on all retail locations will play Animal Crossing New Leaf 1 AM alternating between snowing, raining, and regular, for the entire winter season.

on the left, are the flowers shown in the latest trailer, on the right, are pansies shown in the first new horizons trailer from a couple months ago. So, I think those are for sure new flowers, poppies or anemonies, probably.
