Why do white people need to do anything differently about kinks with racialized histories? If you don't feel comfortable calling a white person master or being whipped by one, shouldn't you just tell them you don't want these things when you are discussing kinks and limits? It seems like proper communication resolves all the issues involved here.

You are 18 so I’m going to answer this in good faith.

Unless you are racist and plan to never date anyone non-white, or are monogamously partnered to one person your entire adult life, if you do not consider the boundaries and histories of your kinks even if you still perform them, you WILL eventually at best say something horrifically offensive to a partner/potential partner without their consent, or potentially harm them worse with unconsidered bigotry.

To give a non-racial example that happens to me a lot, I’m going to mention Caning. I’m disabled, and use a cane any time I’m not at home as a mobility device critical to my ability to exist. I’ve had several potential partners, and far too fucking many strangers, ask me some variation of “oh it would be so hot if you caned me with that, will you?”

There is nothing wrong with caning as a form of impact play. However, this always, ALWAYS comes off as fetishization of my disability. There are ways to ask/talk about mobility devices being used in kink that aren’t ablest or nonconsensualy fetishizing! But they require the person not using a mobility device to have actually thought about the ways that bigotry could inform their kink and how to ask without being ableist.

It’s similar with race. To continue the maid fetish example, there are colonized countries like the Philippines whose main export is their people into service industry outside of their home country, especially into domestic work. Many of these jobs are modern day slavery, and people in diaspora may have people in their direct families affected by this. To bring this up to them without their consent due to your own ignorance would be you asking if you can fetishize the suffering of their people, even if you weren’t doing it with intent to harm. Filipinas in particular are often flooded with ads/content marketed towards whites specifically trying to promote the enslavement/kidnapping/assault of Filipinas while trying to interact with their identity both within and without nsfw spaces. (As a note, I am not Filipina, this was written with input from my Filipina friend)

So yes, you do gotta know what’s going on with your kinks and ways you interact with them even if you’re white - you don’t have to stop fuckin doing them, you just have to know how to mitigate potential harm, which is a bare fuckin minimum for participating in a kink with other people.

Not all trans women have penises. And y'all need to fucking accept that. This isn't just directed at tme people either!

Trans women are constantly subjected to a "catch-22" in regards to our genitals. On the one hand we're subjected to a decades-long campaign of transmisogynistic medicalism that requires trans women to want vaginoplasty and to seek it. But then on the other hand we are subjected at the same time to gatekeeping and fetishization that blocks trans women from being able to get vaginoplasty. And that same culture also regards us as "mutilated freaks" that have "permenantly ruined" our bodies when we are able to get vaginoplasty. We're damned if we do and damned if we don't, and that is by design. There is no version of a trans woman's body that is acceptable to cisnormative society.

So it is absolutely monstrous that there is such a pervasive attitude which paints trans women who have had vaginoplasty as "not real trans women" — even and especially among trans women ourselves!

Like, every fucking day on this hellsite I'll watch y'all do things like get angry at an artist for depicting a trans woman character as having a vagina. Once I had a date walk out on me the moment she learned I'd had vaginoplasty, and she was a trans woman! I've even had a lot of trans women insist that those of us who've had vaginoplasty have cissexual privilege now!

Like, how do y'all not see that this is just transmisogyny of the exact same caliber that reinforces the fetishization of us? This is the same shit that is used to justify the medical gatekeeping we are all subjected to!

Some trans women have vaginas, some trans women have penises, and plenty of other trans women have every variation in between. Fucking fix your hearts and live with it, or die!

im an intersex trans women with ambiguous genitals and i feel this to a ridiculous degree. everytime i take off my pants I'm worried about what kinds of comments I'll get, whether I'm being judged, the disappointment in realizing i won't be able to penetrate. like with other trans women it often just kinda sucks because im randomly sidelined and treated as if i don't understand something when i do, i understand my own genitalia better than anyone despite the ways people try to label it. people say "it's just like this!" and treat it like that even though that's uncomfortable or even painful for me. all this shit going on since i was born is why i have such crazy genital dysphoria, i want to get salmacian surgery so i dont wanna become completely normal but i want my genitals to be easily distinguishable so it'll be easier for people to understand what ive got going on. the people who treated my genitals best, who was good at handling it, who loved them exactly for how they were, was a cis woman. i miss her all the time. other trans women will be just so damn mean to me about it sometimes.

please just let me decide myself for me
