Thank you!  here is a rough diagram (this assumes some familiarity with doll modding):

I can go into more detail, but I think the key to it working and selling the look is the careful use of the apoxie sculpt (and sanding the crap out of it before painting it).  I kept checking her balance as I went through each step to ensure she could stand.

Also, I don’t know how hard it would be to match a doll’s existing color, I had the fortune to be painting her feet black which I knew would cover the white color of the apoxie sculpt.

Mattel, plz… No more. New eah dolls are getting uglier and uglier. More molded tights, creepy smiles and stiff bodies. Nothing new and interesting. Just compare this Maddie on right with majestic LD Maddie on left.

I have such a love/hate relationship with this. On one hand i love everything about the one on the left except for the round pancake face but on the other hand i love the face on the one to the right but hate everything else. Im just so annoyed at the fact that now that i like the faces that EAH are giving, that everything else I liked about the dolls has just gone down hill.
