Okay so it’s all but confirmed that TS paid for good reviews on TLOAS because no way rolling stone gave it 100/100 when albums like Debí tirar más fotos, London calling, the rise and fall of ziggy stardust and the dark side of the moon are also all rated 100. I’m genuinely sick to the back fucking teeth of swifties and their bollocks—his ten minute connection to her was three years ago, they haven’t been seen together since. It was never confirmed they dated, never confirmed they were even in a situation ship—they held hands, give it a rest.

She’s the one who acted like a child and wrote multiple songs about it knowing damn well her fans/cult members would go and relentlessly attack him and his family which while I’m on the topic is fucking disgusting of her—she surely knows the behaviour of her fanbase and does nothing to stop it and infact enables it by giving them more people to go after. When your fanbase acts like that you are not within your rights to write songs about people unless you’re actively doing something to stop them from attacking people for YEARS.

People say he ghosted her and if he did I honestly don’t fucking blame him—he was being actively attacked when he did have a current connection to her and that would definitely put me off wanting to be associated with someone when they do nothing to defend me in that situation. It also isn’t a crime to ghost someone—unpopular opinion but every human on the planet has the right to cease contact with a person with little to no explanation if they do not wish to be contacted by that person anymore—you owe no one an explanation for not wanting to speak to someone. Idc if it hurts or whatever, you aren’t entitled to speak to someone if they don’t wanna speak to you.

People on twt and shit wondering why matty is mostly inactive on social media beside the occasional TikTok now and then as if when he does post even the slightest thing he doesn’t get people in his comments either A. Harassing him based on a connection to a woman that we do not know the details of nor will we ever probably because it’s no one’s business but their own but she decided to air it out like a child when she knows her fanbase is batshit and will harass anyone she even looks at a bit funny or B. ‘Fans’ in the comments harping on about a new album or new music or this or that, treating him like a machine for new content rather than a person.

If you wanna interact with content he makes—do it with the thought in mind that he is a person, a real person with thoughts and feelings who sees how you treat him and talk about him. If he’s posting about music he enjoys and you wanna interact: ask about the music, share similar bands, express your enjoyment for music he shares if you do enjoy it, etc. because that is how you interact with ‘normal’ people, you show that you value them for their personhood rather than a commodity they choose to make and share with you—only interacting to chat about new music or whatever is dehumanising, he doesn’t have to constantly be working on an album no matter how long it’s been since BFIAL.

I’m having to keep myself from biting back at the cult members replying to my tweets and comments about his finsta because unfortunately they’ll never get it through their thick skulls that he is a person, that they don’t know what went down between him and her™️ and that it’s none of their business. new fic idea :0

I've got an idea for a fic that spawned from learning that Bram Stoker had a forward in Dracula which contained his early ideas for the character, one being that vampires can't be accurately drawn and his castle is filled with inaccurate portraits of him, and I really like vampires and I really like Matty so....vampire Matty x artist girlie.

I've written quite a bit for it, the beginning isn't too bad but the sequence I wrote a few days ago is absolutely abysmal so I need to rewrite it, I'm trying to get it all done fairly quickly without sacrificing the quality of it so apologies if it takes a while.

I'll see if the stars align to give me the ability to create a good teaser for it. it's gonna be called tear you apart because that song is so vampire coded (thank you AHS).
