ASSESSMENT 3
PROCESS
The pictures of my group is shooting the video about assessment 3.
é„速 taotie
The taotie is a motif commonly found on Chinese ritual bronze vessels from the Shang and Zhou dynasty. The design typically consists of a zoomorphic mask, described as being frontal, bilaterally symmetrical, with a pair of raised eyes and typically no lower jaw area.
In ancient Chinese mythology like "Classic of Mountains and Seas", the taotie (é„速) is one of the "four evil creatures of the world" or four fiends, along with Hundun (æ··æČ), Qiongqi (çȘźć„) and Taowu (æąŒæ).
we first come up with this idea because taotie is a monster that really like to eat. It would eat anything it want. EventuallyïŒit eat itself.
it remind us about the food waste. People order lots of food for good photos that can be posted on Instagram and sometimes they can not eat it all. What a waste.

New York-based photographer, Aliza Eliazarov, has always had a slight fascination with food and farming. Having worked with farmers and food professionals the world over to create compelling imagery for clients, her latest project takes this interest a step further. Titled Waste Not, itâs a series of striking images of food that she retrieved from dumpsters and other waste sources around the city.
This photographer is highlighting the global food crisis with her images of salvaged food.

Dutch pranksters have fooled food experts and consumers and proved that even foodies canât tell McDonaldâs from real, organic food when offered some on a plate. The comments from misled âexpertsâ are hysterical.
Lifehunters, as the guys call themselves, posted a video of them visiting one of the most popular annual food expos in Europe, in the city of Houten, to serve their âtop of the notch recipesâ from their âhigh-end restaurantâ that serves âorganic alternatives to fastfood.â âThe problem here is that we donât actually own a restaurant,â one of the pranksters, Sacha, says on the video. So they paid a visit to their âfavorite restaurantâ McDonaldâs. Armed with a serving tray of cut up McDonaldâs sandwiches made into canapĂ© treats they started their hunt for gullible fans of organic food to ask what experts think about their âspecialties.â Serving their âtop notchâ recipes from a non-existent restaurant, they managed to fool dozens of âthe biggest food experts of the Beneluxâ. They asked âfoodiesâ questions as to every aspect of the sandwiches and other snacks â from ease of chewing to taste, to how they feel in the mouth â to discover a simple truth: that if you donât know what youâre eating, itâs incredibly easy to be fooled into thinking youâre eating the best Earth has to offer. Note: Turn on subtitles to see English translation âThe structure is good, yes. Not too sticky,â said one expert about a McMuffin. Then it was onto the âreal classicsâ. The âChicken McNuggetsâ were neatly cut up and served by a charming young waiter, complete with tidy uniform. âRolls around the tongue nicely, if it were wine Iâd say itâs fine,â an older and presumably more experienced food critic commented. To make this even more fun and amusing, the pranksters asked people what they saw as the key difference between these âorganicâ treats and something one might see at McDonaldâs. The experts did not disappoint: âIt definitely tastes a lot better, and the fact that itâs organic is definitely a good thing,â said a young woman. âYou can just tell this is a lot more pure,â came another comment from a young lady operating an organic stall. READ MORE: âViral video recipe: nuggets, foodie, and a pinch of humorâ They went on like this â persons of every gender and age. So, there must be some truth in the claim that itâs really âall in your mind,â at least thatâs what Erik Hensel, the founder of Lifehunters.tv, told RT. âI think the nicest thing about this campaign is that the so-called âexpertsâ were automatically saying all these things about it â that it was way better than McDonaldâs, and this made it really funny.â

we tired to make different forms of noises without talking, the whole audio is composed by the noise of the act of consuming chocolate while peeling off the packs, also the noise of sole after raining slipping on the floor: they are the background noise of our life.
Assessment 2 Final work
Statement of my Assessment 2
In my video, I create an ironic conversation between driver and female passenger. An overprotected girl who call a Uber and during the whole conversation, she took a knife, electric teaser, pepper spray and small bomb with her, and she mention these items ordinarily, and the driver was cool about it, he did not over-react about this. It just like a normal conversation in our daily life. Â And I took pictures of my friends both male and female. From the beginning, they all wear thick clothes and all feel comfortable about it. And then we started to decrease the number of clothes. Maleâs side still comfortable. However, in femaleâs side. The model begins to pick up the knife and pepper spray, feeling a bit aware.
During my research, I found that in ancient China, most think that men predominate over women because the establishment of patrilineal descent. As a result, a lot of people still thinking this way in China. People usually objectify women, and they tend to believe that the fertility of women is womenâs only value.
As I mentioned in Assessment 1 that the relationship between man and women sometimes can be quite complex. So, I was thinking that how can I express this social phenomenon.
In Chinese, the word âbinaryâ donât have a specific translate meaning. It is a bit difficult to understand. Last month in China, I saw a news on the internet. It was a Driver from DIDI (Chinese Uber), the diver supposes drop off the girl at the location that has been set before the girl get into the car. However, the driver drives his car into a desolate and uninhabited place, he rapes and kill the girl. Â When I saw this news, I was thinking that everyone who read this news would condemn this driver. Apparently, some people just donât have their conscience. People who in the social media, they say what happened to this girl is because she had make up, she looks beautiful. And she didnât wear enough clothes. It is totally bullshit. Women has their right to decide what they wear.
Women dress well, no violence nor injury is to be offered to them. In nowadays society, people has higher expectation on women, although that both exist in-between man and women. You can always hear that âyou should not dress like that the skirt was to short!â or âYou dress so well and look so pretty. No wonder guy would rape you. You seduce them first. It serves you right!â Â Thatâs not true. Clothes is not the major problem! One of my research, it is an exhibition call âWhat were you wearingâ. Â The idea of taking pictures of people in different outfit was inspired by this art project. This art project was created in 2013 by Jen Brockman. The exhibition features 18 stories of sexual violence and representations of what each victim was wearing at the time of their assault. The outfits include a bikini, a young boyâs yellow collared shirt, a sexy red dress and a T-shirt and jeans. The criminal just think women are easy to control.
However, when it comes to men, itâs a completely different story. Man can wear any kind of clothes in most of time. They would not be judge because of their sleeveless garment or shorts. Basically, no one would argue whether this is inappropriate. Because in every way, men are more stronger and hard to control.

Apparently, these days it is difficult to find a good woman. Wife material. Women of these days are said to be far too insolent, far too empowered and far too modern. They are nothing like the women of yesteryears.
It is not fair to put so much unrealistic exceptions on women. Gender should not be the reason for it.Â

Both young women and young men can agree to engage in sexual activity that they do not personally desire. However, the truth is, If a woman or man is asleep or unconscious, that person isn't going to say anything, which means they can't consent to any kind of sexual activity. So unless that person gives you a firm "yes," it's rape.
