“All shrinks are assholes. I don’t need help, I’m not a danger to myself or anyone, there’s no reason to lock me up in a place like this. I’ve already done my time elsewhere.”

Josiah just stood there smirking at the human, enjoying the fact that he was obviously angry that he couldn’t move and speak. The witch could kill him without even a second thought and no one would miss him, but the witch enjoyed imprisoning them in this asylum much more.  His smirk grew a little wider before speaking again. “Cat got your tongue? You were so vocal earlier and called me what was it, a pussy? Now it seems you have nothing to say,” the asylum owner just mocked the young man in front of him, before his eyes glowed a deeper red and focused on the human. He weaved some magic that would have every nerve inside of the younger males body feel like it was on fire. He knew how painful that could be to a human, but he didn’t want to torment him too much just yet, so he slowly pulled the magic back as his eyes went back to their normal color. “Anything to say now, boy?”

He grew angrier as the other mocks him, thinking about just all the things he wanted to do, and, knowing him, would probably try once the other let go of the hold he had over him. However, unexpectedly, he felt as if every part of him was on fire, every part of him burning. Unable to make a sound, he suffered through what felt like an eternity before, finally, the man lifted his spell. The second he is able to move again, Trace hunches over, hands on his knees. Every muscle ached, due to the fact that had felt that they had endured the sensation of burning. Finally, he looked up at the man, glaring intently at him as he stands up straight. Before he can even think of how stupid it would be so lash out against him again, Trace spits--directly into his face. “You’re still a pussy,” he says, quickly feeling fear fill him due to his stupid, stupid decisions. But, it was too late to take it back, so he stood there, defiantly staring him in the eye.

The punch comes and Dexter is actually surprised the boy had that much force behind him. He growled– his eyes darkening. He had forced, but Dexter was larger and he had gotten in more than one fight. “Alright. That was a fuckin’ mistake.” He coughed out. He reared his fist back and slammed it straight into the boy’s nose– using his entire body weight behind it.

As the powerful punch hits his nose, Trace’s head reels back as it cracks, blood starting to pour from it. Pain courses through his body, but ultimately, it just pisses him off. He stands up straight, not bothered as the blood runs down his chin, and throws a powerful punch to this jaw. Even though he was small, he had gotten in many fights in the past, and had picked plenty of them with people much bigger than him, so this wasn’t anything he wasn’t used to.

“Oh quite the mouth that you have there. It’s a surprise no one has ripped out your tongue yet, but I suppose I could just be the first.” Silas stepped forward, “You are aware who I am, right?”

When the other steps forward, Trace stands up straighter, but it didn’t help him look any bigger in comparison. “No, but am I really supposed to give a fuck about who you are?” he answers.

“Uh huh, sure you’re not.”

“I don’t think she’d lie about something like that…What gain would she get from lying about escaping?” That last thing he said made him think. Of course people would get suspicious. Especially their family and friends. There’s no way they could keep them their for eternity. “You’re right,” he found himself saying that for the second time now. “But what if they just keep telling everyone that we’re not fit to be released?”

“Maybe she wouldn’t gain anything from it, doesn’t mean she wouldn’t do it. Remember, we’re all crazy. People like us do shit all the time without any reason.” Trace grinned when the other admitted he was right, always getting satisfaction when people said things like that, “They can try, but it the treatment doesn’t work, our families and friends will take us out of here to be moved somewhere else, so we can get help or some shit.”

“Don’t you think this is a conversation you should be having with your own psychologist and not me. You are a level two aren’t you after all. But to answer you, how long you stay here is totally based on your own behavior, but in all the years i’ve been here it’s rare someone actually does leave.”

“Like I want to talk with that fucking asshole. What about if the money doesn’t keep coming. My mom paid for me to be taken her, she must be paying to keep me here, so I doubt you fuckers would keep me here if there was no more money coming in.”

“No, because that’s a stupid fucking plan, and I really don’t want to be told what to do by the likes of you.”

Josiah sat back at his desk for a moment when the obvious human outside of his door started to run his mouth.  The witch was calm though and amused that this patient thought he could speak to him in such a manner, he didn’t say anything though, knowing that would likely annoy the human more.  He slowly stood up, however, his eyes turning red as the magic started to flow through his body and he focused on how he was going to punish this boy.  Josiah’s eyes tended to change color with whatever kind of magic he was working with, red was always for punishment.  He moved to stand right behind the door before immobilizing the patient with a spell and making sure the patient could no longer speak, then he let the door slowly open on it’s own. His eyes were still red as they settled on the new patient in front of him, his thick arms crossing across his chest. “You wanted to talk face to face? Well, here I am.” The witch just smirked after saying that of course, just standing there and waiting for the boy to realize the extent of what Josiah had done.

Trace’s foot tapped hyperly, waiting for the man to come out and speak with him. However, as he saw the shadow of the man on the door, his foot stop moving, and he couldn’t seem to move it no matter how much he tried. Immediately, he felt panic start to spark in him, which in turn, made him angrier. When the man finally opened the door, he wasn’t intimated by him, and simply wished he could move so he could punch him in the face. He tried to open his mouth, but he saw he couldn’t do that either, nor could he even hum angrily. He simply stared at the man, wondering when he would let him move, and what in the world he would do while he couldn’t.

“Jesus Christ, I’ve been getting used to this place, it’s quite the change of pace. I ain’t no Einstein, I can’t up with a plan that fucking quickly.”

“She seems alright, more put together than others. You got any bright ideas as to how we’re going to escape, or are you speaking off assumptions?”

“I’m sure she seems that way. I don’t fucking know, I’ve only been here, like, three days, I’m sure I’ll come up with something.”

“Oh,” Levi squinted a bit at the other. He didn’t know him. “But there’s a girl who’s been here five years…She said she tried to escape on multiple occasions but it never worked.” He frowned lightly. “I hope you’re right though.”

“Yeah, but god knows if she’s telling the truth, why would you believe her? Of course I’m right, they can’t just keep us here. People will get suspicious, no one would be stupid enough to try and keep us captive.”

Nicolette let out an amused chuckle at the young male’s rant, “Forever seems like an awfully long time, doesn’t it?”

Trace glowers as she chuckles, having always hated being laughed at, “Do you do know the definition of forever? It’s a pretty long time.”
