Great strategy.
With my hectic schedule, no wonder I'm fatigued so early on in my run. I rarely get to rest my bones. This can turn a newbie off. So it's important for people new to running to know that rest is a part of the fitness regime.
Seeing all these races this weekend had me so excited to get my running game back on. If you have experienced a time where you stopped running, the only thing to do is just do it. Start somewhere, anywhere, just get back out there. You will be glad you did.
I am certainly guilty of this. I've been told to start off slow then gradually pick up the pace. What I have experienced in the past with all the hype on race day is that I'm running beyond my ability then crash only about half way. It's hard to remember when excitement takes over, but it is definitely a good practice.
Going to try this. I lost my pace since I haven't ran for some time. We shall see if this works for me.
I run with my mouth open all the time. I tried to breathe through my nose and exhale through my mouth wile running, but after a while, I'm doing both, lol. Still trying to figure it out.
Getting it in where I can fit it in. Boardwalk is nice this time of year. Oh how I miss running. (at Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel)
Finally, a video of ordinary sized, plus sized, curvy ladies getting their FIT on. Told ya! Now let's keep MOVIN'
With the semester half way done and spring in the air (well sometimes). Its time for me to refocus my attention. 13.1 miles is on the horizon for me so I have to get back out and start somewhere. Niagra Falls, here I come.
I'm just thinking how runners used to be portrayed as the skinny, slender type. Now, curvy girls are out doing their thing too. We get fit
Proud to be natural. I love my coils. Since I haven't stressed my hair for the past 2 months, my hair has become stronger, longer, and healthier. The wigs are a convenient and protective style that works out
when natural hair just works with you.
Running Group that I am currently a Co-Ambassador for in New Jersey. Changed my life for the better. Consider starting somewhere. Don't let anything hold you back from being your best, healthier you.
I always wanted to have more protein (meat) on my plate when I was a little child. However, learning about fitness, I found that half of my plate should have been fruits/vegetables and only 1/4 of my plate should have been protein. Gonna take some getting used to, but I do feel less bloated when I eat my veggies and fruits.
