I have spent my life wanting another yet the frustration comes from my willingness to carry a burden I could set down
they were right btw. you have to dig yourself out of your grave over and over again

sometimes you just need to summon this flowchart as an overlay of your vision
I feel aged. I don't like that I'm caged in nostalgia and reminisce about the countless times I've held my own shoulders back. I know my hesitations will be the death of me. I want to feel my youth in the palm of my hands. I want to experience life openly, again.
I was so lucky to have this space growing up because now I have the privilege of seeing a version of myself that would've been unrecognizable to me now. I thought too much of myself back then. I'm sure I'll think the same again when I look back on this post in ten-odd years as well.
This is my childhood room, with the bright orange walls and two twin beds. I refuse to move anything around. This stays exactly as I found it.
I'm honestly scared that I won't be able to figure out what I want to do...
Don’t worry, don’t force this kind of thing. Before film I was so sure of going to nursing school, but I was subconsciously questioning myself. I knew I wasn’t going to love my job so I had to reconsider everything that I thought I enjoyed. It was horrible when I told my overachieving parents but it’s done and now I’m very happy with where I’m going. So don’t rush yourself and try to find out how to turn your favourite hobby into your career :) (I’m very bad at advice sorry)
I’m now 3 years post-graduation. While there are times I wish I could go back and change everything knowing what I know now and feeling what I do now, reading this has made my chest hurt. I was young and knew everything, and I miss that.
