I feel like a weight has been lifted. Sometimes I feel like I worry too much. Maybe its true because I am always constantly thinking of every little crumb in my life. I think its time I start being care free.
Here is to being care free.
Cheers.
Today I really want to emphasize indie music and how great indie music really is. Let's just for today forget about commercial bands and really listen to San Fransisco's band called Girls with their popular song called "Oh Boy".
Because some times we are in the mood for something a little different. Something that we can keep hidden in our little ears and our pockets. Something sweet that we don't all share with the world. Here's to being broke and talented.
Here's to Girls.
Friends!

This is my official NEW blog.
This is just the beginning! Chanel Marshal Yorkshire and her step father Kyle Rey.
I have been wanting to do something like this for a really long time. I've finally purchased a really amazing camera and I've got some people lined up for some photos. So here is to my new journey as a photographer. I want this experience to be fun. SO IT WILL BE!
I love this.
I haven't blogged in such a long time. I miss this. Life has been so busy lately. I am surgery on Thursday for two ovarian cysts!
Yikes.
There is just so much. So much to think about.
I have a dream.
I miss when things used to be easy. When working was never an issue. When life seemed hard but really wasn't. I miss going insane over trivial things.
Most of all.
I miss being a kid.
I am going to do my best to not take life for granted.
I'm still completely in love with love. I still feel lucky.
God is good. =)
This woman has haunted me for years.
I don't know what it is about her voice. But its incredibly haunting. I remember driving home from school and blasting this song in my car. I remember crying so many times to this song after fighting with my boyfriend at the time. I remember saying that the world couldn't possibly be so cruel if something like this existed. This song has gotten me through so many things. Now for those of you who don't know who Catpower is. Shame on you. But not. That just means she's been my little secret for this long. ;)
But its time to let this song out of the bag and just share it with everyone. This song is beautiful. This song is my past, future and present.
I present to you Catpower and her beautiful song called "Werewolf."
My Promise...
So I am promising to write on here more often. Also, I am promising to share some great tunes as often as I can. So here goes...
Join me on my journey...
This is my life through still images and text.
I'm Back!
I know I haven't been keeping up so much with this blog. I've just been so incredibly busy with work and things that have been going on at home. I've been incredibly stressed, exhausted among other things. I'm hoping that in the upcoming weeks things get a lot easier.
A couple of days ago my uncle died. My dad didn't have that much of a relationship with him. It's not his fault. Certain circumstances caused the family to lose contact with him. Of course times passed by and he's gone now. Its almost silly to think that the smallest thing can keep a family apart. But it happens. I don't want to be like this.
So Sunday I did what I haven't done in years. I went to visit my grandmother. I was so upset at her for things she's said and has done in the past. But she's 86 years old and she's really close to going to see God. I decided it was time to just let go of the anger and open my heart up to love again.
I saw and I wanted to cry. She can't move anymore from old age. She lays in bed all day everyday. My heart broke. I missed her. When I finally let go of all that anger and just let the love pour into my heart. I suddenly became someone else.
I was feeling whole for the first time.
We laughed and cried. I kissed her before I left. Suddenly things that mattered before became so meaningless.
I learned to let go and to open my heart to love, peace and humility.
Love is beautiful.
No meat Fridays are yoshinoya bowl days. Just lather on some teriyaki sauce and you won't miss the chicken. :) (Taken with instagram)
