hey everyone!!
sorry i haven't uploaded in literally forever,, i wasn't feeling very well and just came back out of the hospital after the doctors kept me overnight because they thought i might need surgery (which i didn't, but still might need, so maybe expect me to disappear again). but i'm back for now and had this thought that wouldn't leave my brain so here we go!!
tim drake is literally just a cat and here's why:
okay but HEAR ME OUT because this makes so much sense it's actually ridiculous
first of all - the sleep schedule?? completely nocturnal. this boy will be WIDE AWAKE at 3am doing the most random stuff like reorganizing his entire computer setup or deep diving into some conspiracy theory about gotham's water supply, but the second it hits like 2pm he's dead to the world. absolutely passed out in the weirdest places too like??
i'm talking about tim just casually napping:
curled up on the cave's computer chair (despite having a perfectly good bed upstairs)
on the manor's kitchen counter at 4pm on a tuesday
literally just on the floor of the library because he was researching something and got tired
in the backseat of the batmobile (bruce has learned to just drive carefully)
AND THE IGNORING PEOPLE THING. tim has perfected the art of selective hearing to the point where it's honestly impressive. dick will be trying to get his attention for like 10 minutes straight and tim just... doesn't acknowledge his existence. completely stone-faced, zero reaction, until dick is literally about to cry from frustration and THEN tim will look up like "oh did you say something?"
BUT THEN. but then!! the second someone's actually upset or needs help, he's immediately there. like he has this sixth sense for when someone actually needs him vs when they're just being annoying (from his perspective lol)
he's also tiny?? like objectively small and compact and everyone just wants to scoop him up. jason definitely ruffles his hair every chance he gets. steph is always trying to steal his hoodies because they're "the perfect size." even bruce has that fond parental look whenever tim's being particularly cat-like
oh and the CLIMBING. boy will scale literally anything. bookcases, fire escapes, that really tall fence around drake manor. he just... goes up. gravity is more of a suggestion to him.
plus he's lowkey a little feral sometimes?? like he'll eat the strangest food combinations at weird hours (coffee and cereal at midnight anyone?) and he hoards things in his room. not even important things, just random stuff he decided was His now
