I need EVERYONE to stop what they’re doing and think about the paralelisms between v!Pyro and The Creature from Frankenstein because I swear to the gods I’m going INSANE. Someone brought to life against their will, neglected by the person that brought them back. Rejected and hunted down by a society they crave to be a part of but fears and loathes them. And, in the end, one found the strength to remain a kind soul, the other became the monster they told him he was. One was able to close a chapter, the other had their chapter forcefully closed. I’m going insane I swear, because v!Scott has the SAME initial dismissive attitude towards v!Pyro as Frankenstein towards The Creature when he didn’t act how HE wanted/expected. And both neglected and abandoned, emotionally or physically, that which their own egos made them bring into the world.

SO AM I CRAZY OR AM I RIGHT IDK ANYMOREEEE

I’ve realized there’s a few people in this fandom who don’t recognize that “every vsmp character is a bad person you just have to pick your favorite bad person” legitimately applies to every VSMP character. All of them. They are all morally dubious either because of their past actions or because of the way they choose to behave in the SMP. I cannot think of a single one of them that’s totally in the right all the time.

And that includes Shelby and Pearl who are the people I see get the most “Actually she’s totally a good person who did nothing wrong”!!! Shelby especially is like, she’s sweet and she means well, but she’s totally in the wrong for so much of what she says and does. I could go at length about how wrong Shelby is for most of the SMP. She is completely ruled by her own personal emotions and preferences to the point where she refuses to see the truth of the situation multiple times because she just likes some people more than other people. And for Pearl, while she acts as a moral backbone during the series, she straight up has killed people. Part of her backstory is that she has killed multiple werewolves and when it’s brought up to her that werewolves are humans most of the time, she immediately brushes it off. Her moral code changes during the series from “I kill monsters who kill people” to “I kill monsters that kill people senselessly and for no good reason” but that’s still putting herself in the position where she personally gets to decide what’s an acceptable reason to kill.

In conclusion, they all suck a little bit. That’s fine! We like that! It’s okay to admit your fave is morally dubious!
