like, i know that your ex’s sister who you also happened to have slept with at some point isn’t the least awkward basis of a friendship, but rebecca is basically the closest thing robert has to a friend in the entire village who isn’t aaron or aaron’s family???? like that’s a good, healthy thing to have??? and i think he’s missed that and that’s why he’s gravitating toward her in ways that some fans (apparently) find unrealistic. he thinks he’s made it clear to her that he’s not interested (which he has imo), and he thinks that aaron is okay with him associating with her because aaron himself indicated as much (even if he wasnt telling the entire truth - rob is not a mind reader). so, you know, let rob have friends 2k17.
