428 studious heard there were fish, so she came over, dipped her head in for like a second, and then caught a fish. you go girl!!!

unironically: yes!
428 Studious and her sister 429 Social were born to 128 Grazer in 2020. They look basically identical to each other -- so much so that many people cannot tell the two of them apart, even today. But, they had different personalities: one of them paid attention during their mother's fishing lessons, and one of them kept running off to go play with other young bears. They came to be called "Grazer's studious cub" and "Grazer's social cub", which got shortened to just "Studious" and "Social", and the names stuck!
They are both independent bears now, and they're both quite skilled fishers, too!
if you vote me for president i vow to make everything the ocean again. no more land only ocean. this will solve all of our problems and replace them with new, far more interesting problems
On April 16th 2025 the US federal government has proposed to change the interpretation of the endangered species act so that it no longer protects habitat.
This is open for public comment until the end of May 19th. Please comment and make your voice heard.
Wildlife need their habitat. If the ESA redefines harm so that habitat is no longer protected, the implications for wildlife would be catastrophic.
