every day. it’s every day i go crazy about if we decide to judge some civilians as “worth” protecting and some are not, if we decide we are too important to be risked, then we destroy our own purpose. we cease to be the servants of our society. we become it’s tyrants! not just bc it’s a certified banger of a saavik quote but also bc of the way the scene itself is her saying it to jim who, yes most people will draw comparisons between she and spock, i think she’s a touch more like jim

Sometimes I think that if Space Seed hadn't been made in the '60s, several men on the Enterprise would have been explicitly attracted to Khan (not Spock though LOL), and Khan would have probably seduced McCoy.
