Though he feigns annoyance, a small smile tugs at the edges of his lips.

“They’re graceful creatures. Fragile, but they run free. I just think they’re quite beautiful.”

He pauses for a moment, his eyes gazing off into the distance. Quickly, though, he straightens his tie and yanks the lever to his left—almost as if he was automated to do so.

“This was about my conversation with Scraps, wasn’t it? I just don’t like small animals, that’s all there is to it.”
